walking towards their kitchen, he continued to search for the older, but yet he still couldn't find him. a small pink sticky note stuck on the fridge caught his attention, walking towards it.

"i left really early because i have to go somewhere else, well not that you really care but yeah."

"yeah, i don't care." the younger told the paper and stuck it back on the fridge. deep down he did care actually, the way he had a worry on his face ever since he woke up and didn't saw mark beside him, but nope, he's not admitting that.

he then exited the kitchen and placed himself on the couch, staring blankly on the black screen tv. what is he suppose to do now? mark took the car with him, no way he's walking to the library with his feet, not with his lazy ass.

where will mark even go? the younger thought and found himself spacing out. "why do i even care anyways?" he groaned and rolled his eyes. just then, his phone rings making, scaring him for a second.

"hello?" he doesn't know why he picked up the call when he doesn't even know whose number is this.

"hyung!!!!"

a squeal can be heard on the other side of the phone and donghyuck had to pull his phone away from his ear for a second, "is this chenle?"

"yes, yup!" donghyuck couldn't see it but chenle is nodding his head with a wide smile.

"is this your new number? i couldn't recognize you at first."

"yeah, and this is also my new phone," but before he can let his older brother reply, he spoke, "and i bought it with my own money." he proudly said.

"ooooh, is chenle growing up now?"

"i've always been grown up, hyung." chenle playfully rolled his eyes, thankful that donghyuck couldn't see it. "and the reason why i called you is because i want to hang out with you today, and if is that okay with mark hyung."

yes, chenle does know and aware that his donghyuck and his brother's childhood friend, mark, are soulmates and that they're living inside a house together, or in other words, they got the punishment.

"yes, we can!" totally ignoring the younger's other question.

"i'll meet you in front of the library since the diner we're going to is close to that," he heard a little "mhm" on the other line, "but is that okay with mark hyung—"

"meet you there chenle! bye-bye!"

he has no option than just to just hang up the call after hearing mark's name over and over. as much he wanted to talk to chenle more because ever since he moved into a different house, he can't seem to contact the younger, turns out he just bought a new phone with a new number.

well you see, he did mention earlier that he's lazy going out of the house because mark took the car with him but who couldn't say no to chenle? he misses his brother so much that he just decided to take himself out of the house by feet.
