donghyuck paused for a hot second, staring blankly at the man in front of him whose hands and arms are out.

finally coming back from reality, he slapped himself mentally and gave out a smile, "oh... i'm donghyuck, lee donghyuck." thanking himself afterward for not making it awkward, "nice meeting you, too."

jaemin was about to step a heel and walked out to find another table, but donghyuck grabbed his arm, "do you want to sit here? i mean we could share..?"

the male chuckled, "sure," he sat back down to the chair, "and don't have to be awkward, just talk like we already know each other, i hate awkward moments."

donghyuck smiled and put down his bag on the spare chair beside him, "oh okay, i hate it too."

after a few moments of just silence, meanwhile, jaemin is peacefully reading his book, donghyuck really wanted to ask a question... just one, "um..." jaemin looked up and furrowed his brows.

"your mark..." donghyuck pointed at the male's neck, "h-have you already seen her?" jaemin was about to speak but donghyuck blurt out again, "i-i mean it's fine if you don't tell...i know it's your privacy-"

"him... it's a boy."

donghyuck was taken back and his eyes widened, "and yes...i'm gay." jaemin continues and gave him a sweet smile.

"oh... me too." donghyuck lowered his head, feeling embarrassed. he could just shut the fuck up and let jaemin read his book, but no his mind just decided to be stupid and made things more awkward.

"actually... i didn't really like my soulmates at first."

"s-soulmates?" donghyuck asked, dragging the 's'

jaemin nodded, "i really thought i was straight, that's why i hated them. and after that we were forced into a different house, away from our family and friends just for me to accept them."

"and now..?"

"i do. i love them so much."

jaemin's smile grew bigger and donghyuck couldn't help but to feel jealous. not because he has two soulmates, no. it's because he finally learn how to accept his own soulmate.

jaemin noticed the frown on the male's face, "why?"

"i have a soulmate too, and kinda have the same situation."

"cool!" jaemin exclaimed, "so how are you two now?" the male asked with a big smile on his face, after finding that he's actually not the only one who received the punishment.

"not good," donghyuck's tone got a bit lower, and made a staring contest on the table, "well for him."

"what do you mean?"

"well...you see.." donghyuck let out a heavy breath, "i don't like him-wait no... i hate him... not like hate-hate but i just don't like him and now i'm stuck inside the house with him-"

"okay, wait.." jaemin said, raising his palm, "breathe."

"to make things straight, i don't like him."

"why?"

"reason's not valid."

"okay, okay," he run a hand through his hair, "he's my childhood friend, his my best friend since born and our parents know that, and as time goes by, i started to develop feelings for him.."
