Y/N POV
Two weeks have passed since that dodgeball game. When I had arrived, they had informed me of the deal they had made and the limit we have with our time.
Gon and I have been training non-stop for the plan, but I'll admit, when Killua first told us the plan, I was a little pissed that I was only going to be there in case Gon needed help. I would be the one waiting in our man hole, ready with the rock.
Bisky, in an attempt to train Gon quicker, had him doing handstands and pushing air out of his hands. Five days later, Gon is still trying to propel himself into the air. I walk up to him and tap his shoulder.
"Hey, Gon? Remember when we put aura in our feet and jumped up? Try that but with your hand."
"But we jumped."
"You also have an elbow that acts like a knee." Then I walk back and sit down next to Killua, who's watching Gon while absentmindedly playing with a loose bandage dangling around his hand. "Your hands are kind of better," I mention.
"You want to heal me more?"
"Sorry, can't. I've already done a lot, but I'm saving my energy in case something happens."
"Hm."
"Be grateful."
He pushes me lightly, laughing. "You already know I am."
When it's the final day, we're already expecting the Bombers to show their faces. It's no surprise when Genthru, Sub, and Bara land in front of us.
"What do you want?" Killua yells. I'll admit, his acting is pretty good.
"Now, now, don't be so hostile! Oh, and we have another girl here. It's no matter, though. We want your cards." He directs his words over at Gon.
"Absolutely not," he firmly replies. "Accompany on, Masadora!"
We're whisked away, I see Genthru pinch his nose in annoyance. When our feet touch land again, we immediately jump into the bushes, hiding. The Bombers, landing seconds after us, start to look around, attempting to spot us. When they fail to locate us, they spread out, trying to cover more ground.
As soon as they're out of our sight, we sprint out, heading in the direction of our manhole. I change into dark form, flying above the trees to get to the manhole before Gon does. Only seconds later, I see the Bombers shoot through the sky and land in front of the other three.
I see the small movements of their mouths moving before Bisky and Killua break away, Sub and Bara following each one.
I watch as Gon starts to attack Genthru before continuing to the manhole. It's in a clearing, surrounded by a grove of trees. Next to a random trunk is a hole that will lead me back to the manhole without having to uncover it. I go through the tunnel and sit in the darkness of the hole. It's not even a few minutes later when I see light burst through the seams and Gon and Genthru fall through, landing.
