KILLUA POV
Following the bloodlust that we picked up on in the tree, we stop at a clearing. A Chimera Ant comes into the field and I recognize him. It's the first Chimera Ant we encountered in the NGL. How did he get all the way to this town?
The Chimera Ant starts laughing. "I am Rammot! I will eat you up!"
"We know him," I whisper to Y/N. She nods.
Rammot looks at us and bursts out laughing maniacally again. "I remember you!" He licks his lips. "I cannot wait to torture you!"
I laugh. "Right. Y/N, go watch Gon. I'll take care of this guy."
She nods. "Alright. Don't take too long."
Y/N POV
When I get back to the spot where I last saw Gon and Palm, I see that no one's there. But, strangely, their stuff is still there. Where's Gon?
I run back to the hotel. The door bursts open and I see Gon writing on papers for Palm.
I grab the knife from Palm's hand and toss it out the window. She quickly withdraws another one. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" she shrieks, her voice making the window panes tremble.
"I could ask the same to you! What are you doing to Gon?"
"Yeah!" Killua sprints in just then.
"I'm punishing him for toying with my feelings! I know he loves you!" She points the knife.
I follow the knife's direction and my eyes land on my body. I look back up at her with a look. "What? Are you crazy or something? He's not in love with me! You're fucking delusional."
"Yeah!" Killua quickly agrees. "You have to be insane."
It's as if Palm doesn't even register what we say. She rushes at us with her knife. We dodge and Killua grabs Gon. We start running as Palm chases us, waving a knife around.
Gon starts to argue with us two to let him go back. We disagree with him and continue to run away.
We stop in front of the town square, continuing to argue with him, when we get a call. Putting it on speaker, we receive the news that Shoot and Knuckle have retrieved Kite. Shouts echo throughout the square as Gon cheers, our own cheers paling to his. Immediately, we decide to visit Kite in the morning.
The bunker Kite is staying in is underground. The stone steps are cold and mossy, and it requires all of my concentration not to slip and fall.
At the bottom, we spot the four men, minus Netero, waiting for us. Morel nods as a greeting, and we do the same.
