Things changed again... but this time it worked out for the best. You know how in ancient Greek tragedy a God appears out of nowhere and brings the solution to the protagonist's problem? That's exactly had happened in Seattle Grace Mercy West hospital. Only it wasn't a God. It was Catherine Avery with the Harper Avery Foundation. She helped by giving in the rest of the money to buy back the hospital and bring it to each former glory. So that day the new board gathered for the first official meeting as the owners of the hospital. The representative of the Foundation was none other that Jackson, which basically meant that he was in charge.

Aurora was sitting outside of the conference room waiting for Derek or Jackson to get out and see how the first meeting of the new board went. She wasn't trying to interfere with anything, she was just anxious. She had seen how stressed Jackson was about this and she cared about him so that meant that she wanted to be the first to talk to him after the meeting. And to make sure that he was okay. She was happy about him, for the time she'd known him, she believed that he could do this. So as a good friend, she kept saying to herself that she was, she was being supportive.

But not everyone was... Derek had told Aurora that the rest of the doctors didn't like this, as they thought that it was unfair that Jackson had a bigger saying that any of them.

So she was just sitting a little further away so no one could see her as she was waiting for the meeting to be over.

Derek was the first to leave the room and he looked pissed. "What happened?" She asked as she followed him. He was walking away and not slowing down.

"I'm pretty sure they are just as bad as Pegasus." He commented and this time left without her following him.

"Oh come on, it's Jackson, he can't be that bad." She called back as the other doctors had also started walking away, leaving Jackson in the room alone. Aurora could see that he was stressed, so she wanted to check up on him. Like he had done countless times before to her. They always made sure to check on each other.

"Hey" she softly knocked on the door and Jackson looked up at her. "How are you doing?"

"Oh just peachy." Jackson hissed as he gathered his stuff from the table. "They are all against me."

"I'm sorry" She sat down beside him. "Just give them time and give yourself time. You all need to learn how to work this out. There's no need to turn against each other. Actually, never mind, I'll say that to Derek. He needs to hear it." she realised and Jackson sighed. He felt like he couldn't do this.

"Do you want the donuts? They didn't even try to be nice about it and take one." He muttered and Aurora looked at the pink box on the table.

That's such a Mark move, she thought and smiled "I'll take the donuts." She nodded her head. "Do you need anything? Is there anything that I can do to help you?" She asked him when she noticed him rubbing his head between his eyebrows. "Okay I know exactly what you need." She clapped her hands together as the idea popped in her head. "I give the best head massages. Like that's my thing." She got off her seat and walked closer to him.
