What is the right moment to pass from first base to home run in a relationship? Some people pass by all bases on the very first date. Others wait a little longer. And others wait until marriage. Aurora was sure that there was no way that she was going to wait for marriage to have sex with Jackson. And marriage wasn't something she was thinking about in the next years anyway.

Of course, she wasn't feeling comfortable at first, but after a month of dating, she could feel more ready than ever to go to the next level. To make things a little more serious. She always enjoyed that part in a relationship.

Jackson had been kind with her, and sometimes it was just getting a little too frustrated for her how kind he was. Emotionally they had both connected instantly, but physically... that's a different story. But the last few days Aurora had been more sure than ever about everything that was happening between them and she didn't feel the need for kindness anymore. She just wanted to feel the bliss that came after making love to a man you have connected with.

She tried to be subtle about it in the beginning. She knew that there was no way Jackson would even think about making a move. So the last couple of nights they spent together on little dates, even if it was outside or at their houses, she was getting a little too touchy with him. Her hand was roaming up and down his arm. Her fingers played around on his chest. But nothing...

One night they were cuddled together on the couch watching a movie. Jackson had his arm around her waist keeping her close to him while Aurora rested her head on his chest and her fingers played with the hem of his shirt. Her attention wasn't on the movie at all, as she was trying to find another idea that would end up with them on bed. So she started kissing his neck.

"What are you doing?" Jackson let out a small groan. He tried to keep it in but Aurora still heard it and she smiled at herself.

"You know... You're always so nice to me" she said against his neck, "so I'm trying to return that niceness."

"You know what it would be nice?" Jackson cleared his throat as he tried to stay concentrated on anything else that wasn't her lips on him. "The ice cream you put in the refrigerator."

This time Aurora stopped and she looked up at him. Her eyebrows were raised with surprise "ice cream?" she repeated, thinking that maybe she heard wrong.

"Yeah, I'm gonna get it" he got off the couch making Aurora fall back. "Two spoons right? You're eating?"

"That's not what I should be eating." She muttered.

"What was that?" Jackson looked at her from the kitchen.

"Yeah, two spoons is fine." She sat up before replying, her attention back on the movie, since there was nothing better to do.

Few mornings later Aurora was at Jackson's place taking a shower. She had slept over again and nothing had happened between them, again.
