Jackson was in the bathroom that morning washing his teeth

Jackson was in the bathroom that morning washing his teeth. His eyes were closed and he was making slow motions with his toothbrush. His head started leaning down and as he left his rest of his body letting go, he snapped up, waking himself up. Aurora had kept him up all night. And not in a fun way. She couldn't sleep, the pregnancy symptoms had started showing up more as her first trimester was coming to an end. So her being awake, resulted to Jackson being awake.

"Get out, get out, get out." Aurora shouted and entered the bathroom. Jackson looked at her horrified, trying to ask her what was wrong; but she only pushed him outside, closing the door on his face.

Jackson stood there confused, his toothbrush in his mouth, "Ari?", he called out, his voice muffled. And then he heard her throwing up, "okay, I'll give you some space." He said and walked to the kitchen so he could use some water to wash his mouth.

"I hate you!" Aurora yelled and threw up again. One of the reasons she kept Jackson awake the previous night, was because she was going on and on about how hard being pregnant was, how no one should feel like that as a baby was growing inside of them and that she blamed him for her condition.

"I love you too." Jackson yelled back at her after he spitted on the kitchen sink. "5 more months", he mumbled to himself.

After several attempts at pleading her to come out of the bathroom, Jackson didn't wait for an invite and he walked inside, finding Aurora laid down at the bathroom floor. "Come on, sit up. You need to eat something." Jackson almost dragged her up from the bathroom floor.

"There is no use at eating, I will throw it right up." Aurora argued. "I should stay right here, this is my room now. I will sleep in the bathtub and I will cuddle the toilet at night, instead of you."

"That's almost insulting, comparing me to the toilet. Ari, come on" he begged, "I made an omelette, I put extra cheese just as you like it." He smiled and sat down next to her as she wasn't moving.

"Omelette? Eggs? That's why it smells like death in here?" She exclaimed and moved at the toilet, throwing up again. Jackson sighed and moved behind her, taking her hair out her way with one hand and the other softly caressing her back.

"So, you're feeling better?" Jackson asked as they were leaving the house to get to work. "I can tell them that you needed a personal day, that you're not feeling okay and you can stay here." He suggested.

"No, we have the ultrasound anyway. And I'm not missing work. I can defeat this. I can contain this with my mind. I don't need special treatment. You will not patronise me!" She pointed her finger at him.

"When did I ever?" He asked and Aurora glared at him, she was having a bad pregnancy day. "You know what, if you feel like I do it then I am very sorry that I do it and I will find a way to stop it." He apologised, knowing better than to fight with the woman that was carrying his baby. He could handle a few mood swings.
