"You made waffles in our kitchen?" Aurora heard Derek's voice as she walked out of the bathroom fully dressed and ready to head out. She had slept over at Meredith's and Derek's house, doing some catching up with Amelia. She ended up having a great time with both of them.
"No, not me," Meredith laughed, thinking about how ridiculous the thought of her cooking was, "your sisters, the one in between weepy phone calls with the fiance and the other in between sexting with her boyfriend."
"Good morning!" Aurora sang and looked at the laptop where Meredith was talking with Derek. "I think you should be gone more often. We're having a great time without you." She joked, making Meredith laugh.
"What is happening to my house while I'm away?" Derek asked and Aurora winked at him jokingly.
"I stayed over to hang out with your sister and I might end up stealing your wife too."
Meredith nodded her head in agreement.
"Okay, I gotta head out before I get fired for being late." Aurora waved goodbye to Amelia, who was outside talking on the phone. "See you two later."

"Oh god, am I late?" Aurora ran into the resident's changing room and came face to face with Jo's back full of red marks. "Ow, what happened to you?"
"Jo's dying." Stephanie stated.
"They're stress hives." Jo groaned. The whole thing about one of them getting fired was really getting in their heads. "I've been a mess since I heard Hunt and Webber talk about firing one of us."
"You're a mess? I've gained 80 pounds this week." Leah said, her mouth full of food.
"You could stop eating." Ben walked inside, making Aurora snort in laughter.
"How? How are you in such a good mood? Like how?" Jo whined while looking at Aurora.
"I got the stress out of my system the first night you told me about it. I whined about it for over an hour and then I let it go. Because stress is not part of my life. I ain't letting stress define me. If I end up fired, then I don't know what I'll do. But I'm taking it one step at the time."
"Sure that fact that your boyfriend basically owns this hospital doesn't mean anything." Leah said as she hit Shane's hand for trying to steal her food.
"The fact that my boyfriend owns this hospital doesn't have to do anything with the fact that I am an awesome surgeon." She talked back.
"You know who's not getting fired? Me." Stephanie declared. "I'm gonna keep my head down and stay out of trouble."
"No, we should be impressing them, showing them they need us." Jo argued.
"Okay, maybe I should impress the kids. I am on peds today. Kids are the toughest judges." Aurora put on her white coat and walked out of the room heading for the peds floor.
