"Isn't he adorable?" Aurora held her newly added member of her family in her arms and handed him to Sofia. "His name is Jax and he is the sweetest dog in the world. Don't be scared, yeah?"

"Oh, god. Sofia will want to get a dog now." Callie whispered to Arizona so her daughter wouldn't hear her.

The three of them had gone over Aurora's place to get dinner together, since it had been a while. They thought of Aurora as their family and Sofia loved her so much, so they tried to have as much time together outside of the hospital.

"Well, you can get a dog now in your new big house." Aurora left Sofia to play with Jax and she walked to were the older women were chatting and drinking wine.

"See? I told you she was mad at us for leaving." Callie said to her wife.

"I'm not mad, but, well, it's not nice living at my dead brother's apartment and having no neighbours across the door." Aurora stated and poured herself some wine. "I see his stuff all the time, the only thing I gave away was his clothes and I changed the bed. But everything else is exactly how he left it. And I have to stare at all the video tapes that he has made placed at the library and not being brave enough to actually watch them. I haven't watched any of them." Her eyes fell at the bookshelf which Mark kept all the video tapes he used to film, or have others film him. She hadn't watched any of them. Not even the one which had her name on it. It was too much for her. She knew it. So she pretended that they didn't existed.

"Ari-" Callie tried saying but Aurora didn't let her.

"No, no, it's my problem, not yours. I get that Mark asked you and pretty much the whole hospital, to take care of me. But I'm doing just fine. I'm really happy for you two."

"Why don't you find a new place? Sell this one? Start over? Like we did." Arizona suggested. "Oh I know, you and Avery should move in together." She said excitedly, like it was the best idea she ever had.

"It's too soon." Aurora shook her head. "Maybe in a year? If we are still together?" She wondered. She felt like they had already moved too fast, so she needed some more time to pass and enjoy the honeymoon part of the relationship. "I don't know, I don't like making plans like that, but right now I'm not ready." But before any of them could have the chance to change the subject, Aurora's phone went off as someone was calling her for a video chat. Someone from her past.

Aurora's raised her eyebrows in surprise, not expecting a phone call from anyone from Peru, not with the way she left. But the person who was calling her was a dear friend of hers, so she still tried to be happy that she called her and not get worried. "Excuse me." Aurora said and moved a little further away.

"Hola Gabriela!" She exclaimed as she answered the video call. Gabriela was one of the heads of the program she volunteered at and she immediately became a very good friend to Aurora. She started speaking in Spanish, the words coming out of her tongue fluently. The video call didn't last long, as it wasn't needed to. Gabriela hadn't called to ask how Aurora was doing, even though everyone there missed having her. The only reason she had called was to inform her that one of her former patients was dying. A young girl, named Lorena. She didn't have any parents or siblings and she had taken a particular liking to Aurora. They had an deep emotional connection. When Aurora had left, Lorena was doing better.
