"What do you mean, why am I back here?" Aurora smiled at the man who was sitting in front of her. A clear distance between them, as it was supposed to be between a therapist and a patient.
"Few weeks ago when you came after your accident, I felt comfortable signing the papers for Dr. Bailey. You showed no signs of PTSD. And you're certainly capable of taking care of your patients... And yourself." Dr Carr, the therapist, gave a pointed look at the younger woman. "So I am asking you Dr Sloan. Why are you here, now?"
Aurora looked at him, her previous smile wiped off her face. As she kept thinking about all the reasons she was there.

Few night ago all the residents were gathered at Jo's place for a drink. The girls were chatting about the troubles they had in their love lives, while Warren was looking at them bored. Aurora on the other hand was not participating at the conversation, she was too busy hitting the punching bag that was in the corner of Jo's living room.
"Why did you let him move in?" Penny asked Jo as they were sharing a bottle of wine.
"Because he showed up on my door all sad with his big, sweet face and made me forget everything that was wrong with us." Jo replied and added a frustrated sigh at the end. She and Alex were having some troubles and she didn't know how to fix them.
"I know. I see Callie walking down the hall, she and I are barely talking, and I still get stupid." Penny said.
"Ugh. I want to get stupid over somebody. All I ever feel is smart." Stephanie complained and drank her wine.
"So we are ignoring Sloan's punches?" Ben wondered as his gaze drifted to Aurora. She was too lost in her world to hear them. She had just left the hospital after a fight with Jackson, his word's had really hit her hard.
"Ari, are you okay?" Jo asked and Aurora snapped up her head at their direction. "We can talk about it, if you want." She suggested, worried that after what happened she wouldn't be herself. Jo just wanted to make sure that Aurora knew that she had people there for her. But that was only complicating things for Aurora.
"Sorry" Aurora gave them a smile. "I'm so getting one of this at home." She said. "So you were saying? You and Alex? Do you want me to talk to him? I can help you fix this." She said and she knew that Jackson was right.

"Do you want to get chinese on our way back?" Jackson asked her as the end of their shift was coming. "I'll get extra fortune cookies." He suggested knowing that she always got excited over them, and he had missed seeing her excited about anything. The kind of excitement she had over little things was one of the reasons he fell in love with her. Because even if she was grieving back then, she still gave out the most beautiful vibe out there. And it just seemed like it was turned off.
