Chapter 37

A week with my family. I really had a good time with them. Going out, eating chats, watching movies, going for a long ride, visiting temples. Man the list was longer than the Great Wall of China. Not that I mind. I loved the time I spent with Diya. I came to know that Diya is twenty years old and is pursuing a degree in psychology. 

When I asked her about it, her reply made me proud. 'Jiji when I got out of those clutches, I couldn't think straight. I was in dire need of someone's help. And I met Mrs. Leela Patel, who helped me to live my life as a normal human not as a victim. So I wanted to help others Jiji. To help people face their fears.'

She's determined to help others. I couldn't be any happier. 

"Hey stop daydreaming, will you?", Akruti narrowed her eyes at me. I gave her a cheeky grin in reply. "Enough of grinning. Now help me in arranging the dinner bhabhi?", she teased me. Ever since everyone came to know about the love life of Sharav and mine, they went bonkers. The family members of Sharav started calling me with a relation. Let's say like—bhabhi, bahu, bahurani, beta, and whatnot. 

Whenever someone calls me like that, I felt my cheeks warming up on their own. And the idiot whom I'm in love with will silently laugh at my expense. 

"Bhabhi Ji I'm begging you to help here. I can only be enjoying it till that little monster of mine is sleeping. So please your highness move your ass and get to work.", She glared at me.

"Gee, chill down bhabhi.", I muttered and started helping her. Since I consider Viren as my brother, I'd call Akruti bhabhi. And also, I wanted to call someone bhabhi so badly. So, when I got the chance, I grabbed it like I grab my choco truffle. "Where is Nila, yaar? She was supposed to be the host, but instead it's us who are doing the work.", I whined.

"I think she went out with Akash," Akruti mumbled to which I raised my eyebrows. "He's her orphanage friend. Umm...you can say more like a brother. He's working for the criminal investigation department, and he is here for some work. You know the regular investigation stuff." 

I nodded my head. Everything is getting crystal clear. If he's like a brother to Nila, why does Daksh have a problem with it?

"Does Daksh know about Akash and all his identity?", I asked her to which she nodded her as no. What the? How can she not tell this to Daksh? This will only create some unwanted problems in their lives.

"But Akruti, why didn't she tell Daksh about this? Already he's fussing about how Nila is not in love with him and all blah blah. This will only add fuel to the burning fire.", I sighed.  

"I know."

"Didn't you try telling her about this? I mean explaining who Akash is?"

"I did. But she replied that he's here for secret work and didn't want anyone to know about it. Since the department, he's working in is dangerous, he kept the information about him a little secret. Even Viren couldn't get any details about him. Of course, I knew who he was and all, but Nila took a promise from me not to tell anyone about it." She sat on the dining chair with a sigh. I just nodded my head in response. 

"And also, he knows someone information on her birth mother. The information which Akash have collected said Nila's mother's location. So, she's going out with him, to meet her mother and ask her a few questions." We sat there in absolute silence.

"Oh, my goodness, I'm not supposed to tell anyone. This mouth of mine will really get me in problems. Navya promise me you won't tell anyone about it", she was literally sweating in fear. I chuckled at her.
