I saw my family going crazy just because of one girl—one girl who took place in my heart. Forever. She's making me face my fears. She heals me. And now it's my turn to heal her. To bring back my old Choco. From the day she decided to meet her birth parents—she started making distance from everyone—even from her family. She wasn't the same girl I knew. She was different.

Her eyes which were sparkling with bubbliness was now filled with worry. A worry about how would her birth parents will react. It's okay to feel this way, but detaching yourself from others it's not okay. She was the one who taught me not to do detach, yet here she was doing the same. Detaching herself.

The nudging of someone made me come back to reality. It was my sister, Akruti. "What happened Bhai, looking lost in someone's thoughts?", she teased me. In return, I just winked at her. Playfully smacking my shoulder, she encircled her hands around my right arm and rest her head on my shoulder.

"It feels so good na bhai. To see our family happy. To see everyone with a smile on their face. Most importantly you're happy. You know I wanted you to be happy, with the girl you love and all. But after you started detaching yourself from us, I was so sad, thinking how could I lead a happy life when you're not happy.", I looked at her and her eyes were misted.

My sweet little innocent doll!

Walking a little away from our family, we came and sat on the bench placed in our garden. She then continued with a smile playing on her lips. "But Viren made me understand that you'll be happy too. He told me to wait for the right moment. And now here you're smiling and happy with the girl you love." Her words made me stunned. How did she know that I'm in love with Navya?

She just smiled at me. "I knew that you're in love with her. Asking me how?", I just nodded my head not knowing what to answer. "I saw that you are totally in love with her when you brought her to your apartment to celebrate her birthday. Your eyes were filled with love that one could possibly see the love you have for her."

"Am I that obvious?", I asked her to which she chuckled. I pouted at her, she just ruffled my hair.

"Yes, bhai you are. Everyone could tell that you're being a lovesick puppy except her, 'cause she might have made a thought that you might never love her. Just like her. Yet I can say that she's happy with that. But she's also a girl bhai, she'll also wish to hear those magical words. Dream about a dream wedding. So don't make her wait for more bhai.", Akruti said.

"I know doll. I know that I love her so much that I can't live without her. You know I thought I was cursed not to have a family—a happily ever after. Just like others. I pushed everyone away from me cause I didn't want people to get hurt because of me. But this girl destroyed my resolution and made way to my heart." My heart swelled on talking about her.

"She gave me the strength to face my fears Strength to face my past. Strength to face my present and future. But now I can't think of a life without her. She has become my everything doll. Everything. I'm dying to tell those words to her. But I don't want her to forgive me just because of those words. So here I'm holding up." I replied to her. Our conversation got cut when the devil of my brother-in-law came in search of my sister.

"Hey Pari! You guys are here. Everyone's waiting for you both. Come on in." Saying this he grabbed my sister's wrist and started walking towards our home. But stopping on his tracks he turned towards me and glared. "Now that you've got a girlfriend, spend time with her. Not with mine." Both my sister and I stood shocked by his words.

"She's new here. She'll have difficulty adjusting. So go and make her comfortable you dumb man." Before I can say something he was out of my sight. I shook my head smiling. Possessive jerk.
