Navya Tandon

The whole day, I kept grinning like an idiot. Even during breakfast, I was just smiling thinking about Sharav. Ruhi was teasing me whenever she grabbed a chance. My dad eyed us suspiciously, but we shrugged it off.

I was laughing when Sharav told me, how he entered the house and how Ruhi advised him to open up to me. For a minute it makes me all giddy when I think that Sharav was worried about me.

"Ms. Tandon, Mr. Marshall is calling you."

I heard Ms. Stacey say. Shit! Navya you're working now! My mind screamed at me. Giving her an apologetic smile, I rushed to my boss' cabin. Knocking on the door softly, I waited for him to acknowledge it. Hearing his come in I went inside.

"Ms. Navya, I kept calling to your intercom, but you didn't answer any of the calls. Is there anything wrong?", he asked me worriedly.

Great being useless on the fourth day of your job!

"I'm sorry for not attending the call. And about me, I'm alright, it's just some stuff that distracted me", I replied to him sincerely. He just nodded his head.

Damn you Sharav!

I cursed him. "Ms. Navya today I want you to accompany me to interview the topmost growing businessman in London. As you're my assistant your presence will be required there. Okay?" I nodded my head. Wow! It's just the fourth day of the job and now I get to go outside the building! How lucky did I get!

"We'll be leaving after lunch. Our company had to take a lot of persuasions to make him agree to this interview. So we better get going on time. We'll leave around two in the afternoon", he said. I wonder who is that obnoxious man.

"Okay sir", replying to him, I left his cabin. At least I could have something to distract my mind from Sharav thoughts. Still, I'm thinking why Sharav was grinning when I told him the name of the firm. Okay now enough of this Sharav, get back to work, I chided myself.

Around two in the afternoon we left our firm to interview the obnoxious businessman. I thought of asking Mr. Aayush but refrained from doing so, 'cause I know my mouth will come back with sarcastic comments. I couldn't control my curiosity anymore, so I asked him. "Mr. Aayush who's that obnoxious man we're gonna interview?".

"First call me Aayush, just Aayush." I nodded my head at him grinning. "And second the obnoxious whom you mentioned is Mr. Sharav Ahuja- the CEO of VK Clothing." I just nodded at him and watched outside. Wait—What? Sharav Ahuja?

"What? Sharav Ahuja— the one who settled himself in London just to take care of this project?", I asked him with slight fear. Why the hell am I running to him again when in the first place I want to run away from him and his thoughts. Can life get any messier?

But Aayush had amusement playing in his eyes.

"What?", I asked him, getting annoyed.

"It seems like you know everything about him. I just said his name, but you. You said that he settled himself here for this project. I think he might not be needed for this interview, 'cause I guess you knew pretty much about him."

I felt my cheeks heating up after his little speech. Not now! Not now, I prayed internally.

Well, why wouldn't I know about the man I love. Heck! I even stalked him when he was my crush. And now that he had opened himself to me, I know every single thing about him, from his likes to dislikes. So I guess it will be better I answer the questions. No! Everyone will get to know about my love for Sharav. I need to break the walls down, then I'll declare my love for him openly, till then let me be in shadow.
