Sharav Ahuja

It's been four days since my choco is asleep. Four days since I heard her voice. Four days since I saw her beautiful eyes which are covered under her eyelids. I was crying looking at my girl who was sleeping peacefully under the effects of anesthesia. Her head bounded with a gauze. Her right arm was also wrapped with the trips being attached to her left hand. It all because of those people. Mr. & Mrs. Ahuja.

After the call, the guys and me rushed to the hospital after asking them the details. It was Daksh who drove the car because both Viren and I weren't in our right state of mind. Viren was cursing himself that he failed to protect his wife and son. Same the situation with me. Didn't I promise her parents that I'll never fail to protect her, but here I indeed failed in the simple thing? The thing of protecting my love.

Viren and I rushed to the reception to inquire the details about our family. Receiving the details, we dashed towards the room with Daksh hot in heels behind us. Two nurses were seen coming out of the OT with slight strain of bloods in their hands. I dreaded seeing that color. Red. I feared who was being in the room. Viren was in the same state of mine.

"Umm...mam can you please tell us who's inside?", Daksh asked one of the nurses.

"I think... I think her name is Navya Tandon."

I felt the earth beneath me slipping. No...no it can't be my Choco. Tears started to trickle down my face. "What about the other two?", I heard Daksh asking the nurse again. Oh my god! My sister and my nephew. I felt Viren stiffening beside me.

"Well, the child is sleeping. He's totally fine. And the woman named Akruti, even she's unconscious. A slight concussion. Else they both are doing fine." The nurse replied.

"W-What about the-" I couldn't form a proper sentence. I didn't know whether I should be that my sister and my nephew are out of danger or I should be sad thinking about my Navya.

"The other girl?" I nodded my head slowly whilst gulping the lump in my throat. "She suffered a head injury with blood loss. Her right arm has been fractured and her face is slightly bruised. But don't worry young man she'll be alright in no time." She smiled at me sadly. The experienced eyes telling me to trust her. I slowly nodded my head.

"But who admitted them here?", Viren asked. The nurse narrowed her eyebrows thinking hardly. "Ms. Rey who admitted the three patients here?", she asked the young girl beside us.

"Umm... a man and a woman. They both were in their twenties, I guess." She said and the three of us looked each other with confused look on our face.

"You people are the relatives of the three of them, I guess?", the young woman asked us, and we nodded our head. "The woman asked me to give these two letters to you." Saying this she handed us two letters.

To Viren Bhai and Sharav Bhai. And the other was written To Daksh.

Hello Bhaiyas,

So, when you're reading this letter probably, I won't be there. I don't want to live in Mumbai any more guys. Please don't ask me the reason, because I don't think I can talk about it. Viren and Sharav Bhai when I reached home, I saw the three of them unconscious. With the help of Akash, I admitted them in the hospital. I think I don't need to say who it was, but I think it's my duty to tell you. It's Mr.& Mrs. Ahuja.

You can ask my apartment security people for the video footage of them. It'll help you to file a case against them. When Akruti and Navya wakes up, tell them I love the both of them. Tell them I'll miss them too. And when Vihaan wakes up, kiss him on my behalf. I'll miss you guys very much. Thanks for giving me a beautiful family. At least I had the happiness for living with for some time.

Please don't search for me. I don't want to be found. I think it's better you guys forget about my existence. Just think me as a mistake in your lives. I can't live in others' lives, if I'm a mistake in their life. Please don't search for me. I beg you guys. Take care of each other and Sharav bhai please confess your love to Navya and marry her soon, I'll be happy for you.

Viren Bhai take care of my Akruti and munchkin. And also tell Sahil bhai, Preeti and Prerita and everyone that I'll love them till my last breath. Thanks for considering me as your sister. I love you the three brothers of mine. Take care.

With love,
Nila.

I stared at Viren who was reading the letter beside me. "S-she left?", Viren whispered with tears in his eyes. What the hell is happening to everyone today? We turned to look Daksh was sobbing leaning against his head on the wall clutching the letter in his hands. Wiping his tears, he stood up and started walking towards us.

"She left." He whispered. "I'm happy that she's going to live a happily ever after with the guy she loves. You guys stay here, I'll come." Mumbling he started walking towards the stairs. He ignored our shouts and ran away.

"Bhai?", someone's voice brought me out of my past. Wiping my tears away I looked to see Akruti standing with tears in her eyes. "Don't worry she'll wake up soon." She tried to assure me.

Nodding my head, I stood up and made her sit on the sofa. "How are you? How is Vihaan?", I asked her. She smiled in response.

"We both are good bhai. We both are healed now." I nodded my head. "Daksh is not attending any of our calls. And Viren has gone to the station. It seems they both have been arrested and locked up. They manipulated their lawyer to bail them out. But now they can't be bailed out anymore." She spoke.

"I'm happy that they can't come out." I replied seriously. There was silence filling the room. A comfortable one.

"You know I was so scared when I saw them. I couldn't think of anything other than planning to keep my son safe. But your girl was crazy." She chuckled and a small smile played on my lips. "She managed to thrash his head with whatever she got. It was Mrs. Ahuja who attacked me. I was glad when she didn't do anything to Vihaan. Maybe she had some motherly feelings in her."

I just kept looking at Navya. "He thrashed her head, but she didn't give up. She managed to tackle him. I guess they fled the scene after they heard the voice of the neighbors. Or of Nila's voice. By the time Nila reached us we both were unconscious."

"I was planning to propose her." I spoke. "A big fairy tale proposal. But everything went in vain." I wiped the small tear which managed to escape my eyes and clutched my small box in my pocket. Akruti placed her head on my shoulder with tears flowing silently. The door opened to reveal the visitors. Both Akruti and I wiped our tears and stood.

"Sharav are you okay?", Ajay dad asked me to which I nodded my head. The parents of Navya were here. Both the Tandons and the Chabras.

"You don't need to feel guilty Sharav." It was Kalyani maa who said. And others nodded their head in agreement.

"How can I not feel guilty when I failed to protect her?" I spoke. "I promised you people I'll take care of her, but I failed miserably in doing it. This is the reason I stayed away from everyone. Every damn person. Now look where Navya is laying. It's best if I leave her."

Everyone around me gasped. "Are you nuts?", it was Viren who asked me. When did he enter?

"No. I'm not. Can't you understand? Everyone gets hurts when they're around me. Navya, my sister and every single person. Before I came to India, everyone was happy with their life. But now see how everyone are torn in their life. It's best I go away from everyone."

"Sharav, sometimes it happens. We fail to keep our promise." Tejal mom spoke.

"But I can't fail that promise when it comes to my Navya, mom", I replied. "Take care everyone." Walking towards Navya's bed, I kissed her forehead for the last time and saw her face.

"Take care my love." I whispered. I saw other who shook their head as no with tears in their eyes and Viren was very much pissed. The moment I took a step, a hand wrapped around my wrist and I heard a voice I was dying to hear for four days.

"Take another step, I'll chop your balls off."
