Standing near the door of the room, I watched both my girls playing and giggling to themselves. Watching Nila laughing without any care in the world warms my heart. She's the best mother any child could get, and I'm proud to say that she's my daughter's mother. Closing the door behind them softly, I went outside the house and watched the scenery in front of me. It was breathtaking.

The only color I could see everywhere was green. Green, green, and green. This place has the most peaceful atmosphere around. When the place you reside for living is full of pollution, with hectic things for you to handle, and escapism to a place like this will calm down your mind. I smiled and waved back at the kids who were passing by this cute house. I turned around to take another view of the place I'm staying. The place I'm staying for the past three months.

A house built in a small plot with the empty portions being covered in tiny and fresh grass. The brown picket fence guarding the whole house. This whole locality was surrounded by hills. The best place to live in, till your kids grow up to a certain age. In a place like this, they can spend their time playing outside without the fear of being hit by some vehicles, they get to breathe the fresh air.

But this place to have problems here like uninvited visits from wild animals and other things. Still, this place is better to live in.

Before I caught hold of Nila, I was terrible. I became an alcoholic, distancing myself from everyone. From my family to my best friends, I pushed everyone away. Let's just say I became a modern Devdas. All I would do was drink different types of drinks and puke my guts out. Viren, Sharav, and Sahil were my unappointed and unpaid bodyguards. They did a pretty good job of protecting my body from getting beaten up by others.

They would ask me to sensible enough and handle me, but I'll just ask them one question which will shut them up.

"Man up Daksh, you can't behave like this? Do you want your parents to worry about you?" Viren hissed at me.

"Oh, cupid will you shut up?" I snapped at him, but the next moment I started crying. "What will you guys do when the girl you love has feelings for someone else and not for you?" I hiccupped and wiped my watering nose on Sharav's sleeve.

"Eww...what the fuck Daksh?" Sharav pushed me. "What the hell did you do?" I giggled looking at his gagging face.

"Here you can change into my dress." I was about to remove my shirt and offer it to him when the guys shouted.

"Whoa whoa! Stop right there Devdas! You're so generous enough to lend me your shirt, but still, I would opt for a new set of clothes in your cupboard." Mumbling and cursing some strings of colorful words at me, he went towards my room. After returning the guys were talking to each other about their wives and kids which made me sad.

Only if Nila was here.

Suddenly the front door of my house opened in a great force that it made me jump in my place. It was the girls with a furious look on their faces. The guys except me were having a scared expression on their faces. I silently giggled. But I instantly stopped when I received the glares from everyone.

"What the hell is this?" Hissed a pregnant Navya, whilst we gulped. Normal Navya was tough to handle, on top of that, three months pregnant Navya was very tough to handle. I internally laughed at seeing my curse work.

"I swear Choco, I didn't even a bit of alcohol. You can ask anyone." Sharav started rambling. The same was with Viren and Sahil trying to calm down their wives. The scene in front of me made me cry. If my Nila was there with me everything would've been normal, I still love her. I can never imagine my life without her.
