As the brawl started to happen, Bakugo had heard something heavy fall behind him. His senses heightened from both anxiousness and fear of their surroundings, he quickly take a look to see that Kuro had passed out completely on the ground.
"Kuro? H-Hey! Wake up! Now is not the time to pass out!!"
He screamed as he blocked an incoming attack and exchanged blows with the villains, being occupied with his safety, Bakugo did not notice dabi grabbing Kuro. Only by AFO's laughter did he notice that she was gone.
"Oh Kuro, my sweet lovable daughter."
Everyone in the vicinity stopped as they all turned over to look at AFO and the unconscious Kuro. The people who already knew Kuro's real identity weren't that much surprised however they were scared on what All For One would do to her.
While the others, who were in hiding, were waiting for the opportunity to get their classmates out, stopped in their tracks. The group of Momo, Midoriya, Iida, Kirishima and Shoto stood still like statues. The group were shocked...well who wouldn't be if you suddenly found out that your close friend is AFO's daughter?
"His...daughter? Kuro?"
The group could only mutter as their eyes were glued to the father and daughter duo. However, most of the group peeked a few glances at Shoto who looked to be the most confused and hurt right now.
AFO continued to look at Kuro like he had retrieved something precious in his long time. He held her firmly on his arms before grabbing her hands.
"You're still naive as ever dear child. You never seem to grow up."
A chopper was then heard above them, a news reporter was relaying the news live.
'Just in! All For One's daughter is a student from U.A.! How unbelievable!'
"And that is why you are weak even if they think of you as someone strong."
AFO's grip on Kuro was now more forceful as he let her head hang back from his arms.
"But do not worry. I will help you once again to open your potential....just like the old times."
Right as he said that, his hand slowly reached towards her forehead. All Might who had snapped out of his trance from staring at Kuro and his enemy, shouted.
"No!!"
Before he could land a punch, he stopped, no more like he was being pushed back. Smoke was everywhere from his movement just then however AFO only laughed, his voice echoed throughout the battle field.
"Welcome back my daughter." All For One continued to laugh as the smoke slowly dispersed to see Kuro pushing back All Might on her own.
All Might frowned, was this one of his tricks to control Kuro? He wondered, whatever the case may be, he cannot hurt his student either way.
"Kuro, can you hear me? If you're there, try and stop it. I know you're strong enough to do so."
He tried to reason with her, hoping she would come back to her usual self but she did not. She only stood in front of him like a guard protecting its master. He could see Kuro's eyes were closed, her form reminded him of the incident back at USJ. That angel-demon looking form that had both characteristic mesh into one being.
Kuro's body was glowing however it had not affected her much except All Might could see Kuro's skin was sweating so much that it looked like she was melting. He could not help but glare at the man behind her.
"You!!"
"Oh? You seem to be angry at how Kuro looks? Does this not suit your taste of strong?"
"How could you!! To a child nonetheless! YOUR OWN CHILD?!?!"
He could not help but scream at him as his muscles spasmed against Kuro who was heavily pushing him back.
"I only did some slight alterations, she was lucky enough to be born with the power to make quirks into hers so she only had to go through a little bit of pain."
Although AFO did not have a face, he could see him smiling at him like this situation was amusing. He smiled like he was at a carnival enjoying his time. All grinded his teeth in anger as he looked at Kuro who's closed eyes seemed to be moving around as if she was uncomfortable.
"Kuro, show him your power. Go on. Fight."
With those words, Kuro moved as fast as lightning. A dagger formed in her hands as a whip with sharp edges formed in another. She flailed her arms like a monster in a rampage.
This time of her changing into this form was different. Back then, she had a smile as she defeated the nomu however this time, she was frowning, her eyes closed as her pupils inside moved around and she wasn't being her practical self who knew how to calculate the moves of her enemies.
All Might could only take a step back and dodge or redirect her attacks away from him, he could not bring himself to hurt her. He was not able to because one, even though her attacks looked uncoordinated, her reaction time is fast enough to avoid any of his attempts to simply knock her out.
The second one is because he could feel the suffering of this child. This child who has gone through so much abuse in her life and was only left free recently in her teen years.
However, in the other side of the battle field, the fight between the LOV and Bakugo continued. Although Bakugo wanted to help Kuro snap out in whatever state she was in, he could not do so because he was too busy dealing with these group.
He grinded his teeth hard and snarled, he could let All Might take care of her. His mission right now is to get out or defeat this guys in one go but his plan wasn't that easy to accomplish. These guys are wanted criminals who had experiences like these at least once or twice in their life, that's more than whatever experience he had on the battle field.
Although his chances of defeating these guys were slim, there was still the option to flee however he can't do it on his own. He needed help, he badly needed help if he wanted to live.
A group that had followed the heroes in this battlefield was still stood frozen, both in fear and shock. Thankfully, Iida had snapped all of them out of their trances.
"Everyone, we must focus on our duty. Let's not think about anything for now and focus on retrieving bakugo."
His words seems to lit a bit of courage inside all of them. They needed a concrete plan to retrieve both Bakugo and get away safely without the villains following after them.
They at least needed an opening. Just one small opening was all they needed to turn all of this around.
