Chapter 87

3rd person pov

Kuro woke up to a stinging sensation on her cheek, blood gushing out as if it was sliced by a knife. The blonde student in the bar hummed a tune as she twirled her bloody knife in her hand.

Kuro immediately realized the situation she was in, remembering what happened yesterday. They were captured from the camp and soon her father would meet them.

"Good, you're awake. I'm sure you'll be glad to see master." The sound of shigaraki's voice urged kuro to stay awake and be cautious, ready to receive whatever thing he gave so long as he doesn't touch a finger on Bakugo.

She couldn't risk getting him killed, he still has a lot ahead of him. She promised herself that she'll protect them and their dreams and she'll make sure to abide to it.

"Did that girl do this to me?" Kuro couldn't help but ask, the other girl in the room giggled as she nodded frantically. It seems to her that she was absolutely crazy in the head.

"Really now..."She muttered to herself as she heard clashing of metals, turning to her side to see Bakugo trying to break out of his binds. Shigaraki looked at him with a fierce gaze before speaking.

"If you join us Bakugo, we'll free you."

Bakugo immediately gaze over shigaraki with a glare that it made kuro scared at how fast his look changed.

"You think that'll make me join you?" He spat as everyone can practically feel the anger he was emitting.

"I'll ask you one more time aspiring hero, Bakugo Katsuki...Will you join me?" 

The villains in front of them stared with caution, ready to follow any commands that shigaraki might make.

"If you're gonna talk in your sleep, you should just go to sleep and die." 

Kuro grinned as she realized his spirits of becoming a hero will never waver to the hands of the villains, that he'll beat everyone into a pulp if they underestimated his strength as an aspiring hero. 

Suddenly shigaraki turned on the news, revealing Aizawa and the principal doing a live conference. Kuro couldn't help but gasped as they all listened.

"We deeply apologize for this event that allowed harm to 27 first years of the hero course because of our unpreparedness."

Kuro had tears pool in her eyes as she watched.

"We apologize for causing unease in society due to our negligence in properly defending ourselves as a place of learning. We are truly sorry."

"No..." She breathed out as her minds swirled with questions, this wasn't the school's fault- it was the villains for even fighting that it got them involved.

The news portrayed it as if the school wasn't powerful in defending their students when it fact, they are powerful that they have all the students alive. If this was some small hero school, tons of student might've been dead by now.

The people in the town were discussing between themselves after seeing the news. Their minds filled with mockery for the school, thinking they were making up excuses, just so the reputation of the school wouldn't be damaged.

Soon enough, shigaraki turned off the news and turned to their hostages. 

"It's so strange...why are the heroes being criticized? The way they were dealing with things was just a little off the mark."

Kuro had closed her eyes and tried to block off everything, she didn't want to see the people that had helped her get criticized like this. It broke her heart.
