Kuro Usagi's point of view

"Maybe we should get some flowers for your mother..." I said as we entered the hospital, I grabbed sho's sleeve so I wouldn't feel so scared. I guess the hospital's smell still gets to me.

"You'll be fine." He said yet again for the hundredth time today probably from how much I've been a nerve wrack since he said we'll go to his mother earlier.

"But it's bad manners to not get anything for the person who's in a hospital you know." I muttered and he just laugh at me.

"I promise you; you'll be fine. Besides, what are you so nervous about?" He mocked me and I know he didn't mean what he said but it still did hurt me. To be honest, I was horrified with the thought of hospitals.

It happened when I had a mission to kill a villain that pissed off shigaraki and while I was on that mission it required going to the hospital because he has been going undercover for a while to hide from heroes.

While I was there, finished on my mission, I stumbled upon an elderly woman and from then on, I started visiting her whenever I can on missions. Of course, shigaraki found out and burned down the whole building with everyone I knew in the hospital in it.

Sho must've noticed my gloomy expression because he stopped and grabbed my hand before standing in front of me.

"I'm sorry if I brought up a bad subject." He said and looked at my eyes, I shook my head and gave him a smile.

"Don't worry, it was a long time ago. I'll tell you about it when......the time is right." I said and he raised an eyebrow at me before dropping it.

We continued walking until he stopped by the counter and the nurse quickly changed her expression into a flirty gaze at him.

"What can I do for you, hon?" The nurse said and I just clicked my tongue and looked away from them while gripping sho's hand.

I felt his gaze on me for a second before he focused talking to her.

"We're here for Rei Todoroki." He blankly said and I saw from the corner of my eye, the nurse intentionally flipped her hair to the side and showing a bit of cleavage. Isn't she older than us by a lot?

"Oh... She's on floor 3, door 327 sweetie." She said and gave him a wink, my blood boiled but I ignored them by staring at the patients by the lobby, busy chatting, sitting or just sleeping on the chairs.

I was pulled by a force and I almost tripped if it weren't for sho who caught me by the waist as I held on to his shoulders for support.

"Sorry 'bout that..." I muttered before quickly standing up and walking ahead to the elevator as I avoided sho's gaze.

We both waited for the lift to come then we entered it and he pressed the 3rd floor. I stayed quiet as it was just the both of us in the elevator, that is until he cleared his throat that it made me look at him.

"Are you jealous?" He said with a playful smirk and my eyes quickly blinked, me? Jealous what?

"Am not." I firmly said but he paid no attention and pinched both of my cheeks.

"You're so cute." He said and I pulled my head back from his pinching, rubbing them as they ache.

"You know that it hurts right?" I said as I rubbed both of my cheeks as I glared at sho.

"I know." He said before standing in front of me and grabbing both of my hands.

"What are y-" I was cut off when he kissed both sides of my cheeks where he had pinched me.
