I choke on my own spit as I tried to calm down my breathing, I cover my mouth to stop myself from laughing.
I crouched down and grabbed my stomach as I couldn't help but let out some noises.
I calmed myself down and steadied my breathing, once I did I stayed crouched down and listened in to their conversation.
"T-that's not it! I mean, even if I was, I would say I wasn't so I don't think you'd believe me but anyway, that's not how it is." I heard midoriya ranting as he thought of an explanation to tell him.
"In the first place let me ask you something. Why do you think that about me?" I heard him say and I was about to listen in more when I was bonked in the head.
I immediately rubbed the spot where I was bonked and looked up to see bakugo.
"What are you doing here bakugo?" I whispered to him and he looked calmed but pissed.
"No what are you doing here?" he whispered back and looked at the corner to see midoriya and shoto.
I quickly pulled him back and covered his mouth as he tried to let out some noises of discomfort.
"Shut up! Do you want to get found!?" I whispered in his ear and he just stopped. I sighed and continued listening.
"Endeavor's my old man. I'm sure you know that he's been stuck as the number two hero for forever." shoto said and we remained silent.
"If you have something from the number one hero, then I have even more reason to beat you. " shoto said and suddenly bakugo pulled my hand away from his mouth and stood beside me.
"As a hero, he won a name for himself with crushing force." he said and I can feel his eyes see through the wall. Oh God does he know?
"Because of that, the living legend, All Might is a great eyesore to him." he said and I shivered, bakugo must've noticed because he raised an eyebrow at me.
"Since he couldn't surpass All Might, he moved onto his next plan." he continued and I just shook my head, already have an idea on what shoto is talking about.
"What are you talking about, Todoroki?" midoriya said and I heard bakugo tsked.
"You've heard of Quirk Marriages, right?" shoto said and I flinched. I've always wondered if I was only a product of a quirk marriages or if I'm a product of true love between my parents. But I doubt the second one.
"That thing that became a problem for the second and third generation after superpowers appeared." shoto said and bakugo and I kept quiet.
"Choosing a spouse based only on strengthening your own quirk and passing it onto your children, forcing people into marriage." he said and I clenched my fist.
"The old-fashioned way of thinking brought about by a lack of ethics. He is a man with both accomplishments and money." he said and I was shivering from rage.
"He won over my mother's relatives and got a hold of my mother's quirk. He is trying to fulfill his own desire by raising me to be a hero to surpass All Might." he said and I let my head hung low.
"It's so annoying.... I won't become the tool of a scum like that." he said and I can feel my nails dig in deeper in my palms.
"In my memories, my mother is always crying. 'Your left side is unsightly', my mother said as she poured boiling water on me." he said and I can feel my eyes widen, so that's why he has that scar on his face.
"Basically, I picked a fight with you to show him what I can do without using my damn old man's quirk. No... I'll reject him completely by winning first place without using it." he said and I sighed to try to calm myself down.
"I don't care if you can't tell me how you're connected to All Might. No matter what you are to All Might, I will rise above you with just my right side." he said and left.
I walked away but bakugo grabbed my shoulder and out of reflex I grabbed his hand and twisted it that it made him kneel.
"Fuck ouch, okay stop stop. Let go of me damn it." he complained and I released his hand, he pulled his arm into his chest and groaned.
"Damn what's with you?" bakugo said and rose up from his spot.
"Nothing... Just leave me alone." I said and walked away from him.
~Time Skip~
Shaking my head as I tried to get the scene from earlier out of my head, I made my way to the cafeteria.
I saw the girls with tray on their hands as they try to find a sit. I made my way to them and leaned on momo's shoulder.
She jumped at my sudden appearance and I only groaned.
"What's with you?" Uraraka said and I only slouched more into momo.
"I'm tired of life, I just wanna go in a hole and sleep for eternity." I said and stood straight up as my stomach growled.
"You're hungry aren't you?" Jiro said and I only nod. She sighed and gave me her tray.
"Here you can have my food, I'm not hungry anyway." she said and my eyes widen in happiness.
"Really?" I said and she only nod.
"Ohhhh thank you! thank you! thank you! thank you! You're a blessing in this world!" I screamed and hugged her with my other arm. She tapped at my shoulder signalling me to let go and I did.
As we were about to go on one of the tables, mineta and kaminari walked up to us.
"Hey girls, have you heard the news?" mineta said and had this creepy aura around him that it made me hid behind jiro.
"What news?" jiro said and crossed her arms around her body.
"Yes what news?" momo said and raised an eyebrow at the two.
"Well you see those girls in the cheerleading uniforms? I heard all the girls will be cheerleading." mineta said and pointed at the girls in cheerleading costumes with pointy nose and ears.
"Huh? But I haven't heard of that from anywhere though." Momo said and mineta turned around.
"Well you can believe me if you want but I also heard aizawa-sense talking about it and I thought I should let you girls know." he said and kaminari nodded. I stared at the two while munching on an apple that jiro gave me.
"Well in that case I think we should change into the costumes, am I right girls?" momo said and had this sparkle around her.
"oh momo, do whatever you like honey." I sighed and kept munching on my food.
Mineta and kaminari walked away and high fived each other like they've accomplish something, us, girls went on a table and finished our food.
Once done we went to the changing room and had momo make the costumes, when we were finish I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable from the outfit.
The skirt's short, like only a few inches above my knees and the top is tight, it hugs my chest perfectly and my sides too. I covered myself with the pom pom as every girl in my class started peppering me with compliments.
I couldn't help but blush and look down to hide it, momo clapped her hands really loudly as it was time to go out in the stadium and once we did, well let's just say kaminari and mineta are dead after this.
"KAMINARI! MINETA! YOU'RE DEAD!"
