Chapter 88

Bakugo had freed Kuro from her binds as they closely listened to the live conference U.A. was currently holding. The reporters were trying to make them guilty for not protecting the kids better and that made Kuro scoff.

"We are currently investigating along with the police. We will definitely get out students back."

The principal of U.A. declared as Bakugo smirked, feeling a sense of pride that U.A. knew what they are capable of, especially bakugo.

"You said it U.A. and Aizawa. That's how it is, you dumb scum of a league!"

Kuro could tell he was thinking of fighting them all by himself, she knows herself how smart Bakugo can be but sometimes his plans are just plain chaotic.

She sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him from whatever plan he has in mind. They need to get out of this alive, she doubts that they'll actually kill them but it's better to be cautious than to be cocky.

"Bakugo, you know you can't take them all right?" She muttered to him as he let out a noise while glaring at her.

"Just so you know, I'm still allowed to fight!" He countered with his usual growl as he stared at every single person in the room.

Some villains took his words and had their stance, just in case bakugo would really attack them head on.

They made comments about how bold Bakugo is for declaring something like that without any thought but they forgot one thing, that kuro would be backing his every move while making sure they'll come out alive after this.

"I won't do something I don't want to even if I'm only faking it. And I don't wanna be in an annoying place like this very long." He said that with a grin even though eh was shaking to his core.

Kuro noticed the slight change of Shigaraki's mood as his hand twitched before bringing them up as she pulled back Bakugo who flinched too. Kurogiri seemingly thought the same as them as he told him to calm down.

"Don't touch him, any of you." He backed them off as he slowly but carefully picked up his hand decoy, kuro still anxious about his mood.

"This guy...is a valuable piece. I wish you would've listened to me a little...I thought we could come to an understanding."

"Come to an understanding? No way." He was sweating as he said that. He couldn't lie to himself that he was indeed scared.

Any person would be scared if a bunch of villain ganged up on you and kidnap you somewhere that no one practically knows where you can be. Especially a kid like his age.

"Then I have no choice. The heroes said they're continuing their investigation on us...We don't have time to talk leisurely."

"Yet you keep blabbing about your situation..." Kuro couldn't but mutter to herself as Shigaraki took a step back to look at the tv.

"Master..."

At the mention of her father, kuro shivered as she looked over tot he tv that only said 'sound only'. Her eyes were wide as saucers as she practically trembled, thankfully Bakugo took notice of that and snapped her out of it.

"Lend me your power..."

"That was a good decision, Tomura Shigaraki."

Kuro felt her knees weaken as she heard the sound of her father's voice, she gripped onto Bakugo tightly for support as she tried to calm down her nerves. She still remembers the same raspy tone he has whenever he spoke and she actually wondered if his face is still filled with flesh like always.

"Master? Is that supposed to be your father kuro?" He asked her while she could only tighten her grip on his collar as she shook. He immediately got the message and covered her from the others.
