Chapter 64

Kuro Usagi's point of view

By the time we have arrived at hosu, it was already dark and there was a lot of screaming.

I looked around us to see smoke coming from ahead of us along the buildings, people were evacuating to the other direction as they screamed in fear.

"What's going on?" Sho said as he took in our surroundings, I spotted a familiar creature flying above the building where the smoke came from and my body immediately froze.

"Nomus...." I stated and pointed at the flying nomu ahead in the sky until we heard a scream.

"Quickly! Follow me!" Endeavor commanded us and we obliged his order. We saw another hero, an old looking to be exact, jumping around another nomu, that is until endeavor blasted his quirk and burned it to ashes.

I looked away from the scene as I heard it scream in agony, even though they are Nomus, they had human lives before.

"Gran Torino, I see you're still standing." The flame hero acknowledge the old looking hero and he only stared at him.

"Hello flaming garbage." He replied and I couldn't help but snort, sho looked away and brought up a hand to his mouth as he only contained his laugh. Endeavor glared at the both of us before sighing.

"Tell me what happened here." He said as he glared back at the hero. Now that I think about it, I think I saw one of this hero's files before and I think he became a teacher at U. A. around the symbol of peace's high school life.

I didn't bother to listen to them as we made our way to the area where I saw the smoke earlier and let me tell you, it was horrifying. 3 nomus fighting off the heroes, about 6 of them until I saw one died when an explosion occurred.

I gasped and silently prayed that he'll rest in peace even if I knew nothing about him. Endeavor quickly ordered us to help out with the other heroes as I quickly jumped in action and blocked a Nomu that was coming for another hero.

I held up my hand to the nomu and tried to control it, thinking that maybe I could still control it just like back then.

But it didn't work, my face widen in shock as it didn't stop from my command. I tried using my quirk on him but still nothing worked.

'Don't tell me father managed to kill off my chemicals in it?' I thought as I dodged an incoming attack from it.

"I'm really sorry to do this but I wish you rest in peace..." I said quietly to myself as I charged toward sho, who already knew what to do.

I brought up my insanity quirk as sho gave me a leg boost up in the air while I made a knife with my quirk. I sliced the flying nomu's neck as it fell off the body and fell dead to the ground.

I let my body fall as I saw sho readying himself to catch me, he caught me in his arms and knelt down so I could get off him but not until I gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Thanks for catching me!" I said and gave him a smile as to which he returned with a pat on my head.

"You did fell for me and it was only a matter of time before I caught you." He jokingly replied and I only punched his arm and rolled my eyes before quickly going back to our situation.

I ran towards the other big nomu with a gun in my hand as I tried to shoot its brain, eyes or head for that matter but it didn't do anything. I saw the other heroes having a hard time keeping themselves safe as debris fell right into them.

I sighed before summoning some creatures and making them attack the nomu. I was about to charge at it until my phone beeped, I jumped back to a safer place next to sho before opening it.
