Chapter 65

Kuro Usagi's point of view

Endeavor had us split up to go after another flying nomu, who was dragging an innocent hero and then went the other way.

By the time we got to Sho, they were holding up an unconscious Stain as he was tied up with his hands behind his back.

Iida and a hero was with them too, I froze at my spot as my eyes brimmed with tears as I glance at Stain.

'He's gonna be fine, he's just unconscious.' I mentally said to myself as I was suddenly engulfed in a hug.

I hugged sho back tightly until I heard him groan in pain, I pulled back and panicked.

"Oh God! Sorry sho! Are you alright? Where's the pain? Oh my Lor— Someone get the damn ambulance over here!" I yelled to the other heroes and they flinched at my tone. I felt strong arms grabbed my face and I was face to face with a smiling sho.

"Kuro it's okay, I'm fine. Its not much of a big deal." He assured me but with blood coming out of his wound, it's hard to calm down.

"Say that to my face when blood isn't pouring down your wound." I said and glared at him which he flinched before kissing my forehead to possibly try to calm me down.

"Shoto, sweetie.... You can't calm me down when I literally see blood on you." I stated as I grabbed a bandage roll from my utility belt and wrapped it around his wound.

He flinched but just let me do my thing as I rambled and focused on his wound.

"What if you got killed? Or in a far more worse condition? What if you couldn't move or walk anymore! You have to be careful okay!? You— there done — can't keep giving me heart attacks like this!" I raised my voice and I just hear laughing.

He has a nerve to laugh while he's injured, how dare he—

"You're really cute when you're angry." He said as he brought up his other arm up to my cheek.

He smiled as I leaned on his cold hand, I looked at him in the eye as my face softens.

"You can't keep getting hurt like this sho." I softly said and he only nod at me before bringing my head to his chest as he placed his chin on it.

"I'll try my best." He said and I hugged his body, I closed my eyes for a minute before hearing Gran Torino shout.

"Get down!" He yelled in panic but it was too late. Midoriya was caught by another flying nomu as he fell limp into its claws.

I was about to do something when something killed it and caught midoriya.

"Everything that I do....is to create a stronger society." He said as he slowly walked towards us while dragging his sword.

Sho walked in front of me, taking his stance as he's protecting me. Everyone of us couldn't move, the tension was thick.

I haven't seen this side of stain before and it made me terrified but I knew he was still the fun, loving stain I knew.

Suddenly endeavor came behind us and he must've not noticed the situation immediately.

"Why are standing there like fools? The villain must've passed through here right?" He said and my eyes snapped back at him, hoping that he doesn't say anything anymore.

He chatted with the other hero that was with us until he noticed stain.

"Hold on.... Is that? Hero Killer, stain?" Endeavor said as he wore this smug look in his face.

"Endeavor... " Stain said quite lowly as endeavor only fired his quirk in his hand until Gran Torino stopped him.

Stain slowly let go of midoriya as he faced endeavor. I was beginning to get afraid of him even more as he stood in front of us, glaring at us.

We became frightened once his mask fell off, I gripped sho's costume as my eyes went wide with tears. I've never seen him without his mask before.

If this was a different setting then I wouldn't be this scared but with the tension and how he's glaring at us? I couldn't help but be scared at him for the very first time.

"You false hero!" He yelled and I gripped sho harder than ever before. He squeezed my hand back as I felt him shake.

"I'll make this right! This streets.... Must run with the blood of the hypocrites!" He chanted as if he memorized it and walked closer to us.

"Hero! I will reclaim that word! Come on, just try and stop you fakes! There is only one man I can let kill me!" He said as he stomped his foot down onto the ground, I see his eyes shake in insanity as my body threatened to collapse.

"The true hero.... All Might is worthy!"

His bloodlust spread out around us as I felt it for the 2nd time. The first time I felt it, I froze in fear just like today. It made me remember my father and what he did to me along with the others.

But now, it was different. When I felt it, I still froze but I didn't felt as much fear as I expected. It was like something or someone was there with me, holding me until I felt safe and I could only expect that it was sho.

Then he stopped, it was like he was dead. The hero in front of us fell into her ass as we all still couldn't fully recover from what happened.

I breathe out a breath that I didn't know I was holding as tears flowed out my eyes, it was finally over.

Sho hugged me tight as he buried his face into me, shaking in his boots. I too, was shaking. No one could even mutter a word or move, I stared at Stain who stood there like a statue, waiting for him to snap out of it and turn back into my fun, loving and caring stain but to my dismay he didn't.

Eventually the ambulance came and took the injured and Stain out of the scene. I was free to visit sho and the other two but not Stain as he would be placed in a much more strict and secured place.

I sadly glanced at the other truck that contained stain as they drove away from us. I gently placed sho in the ambulance and went with them to the hospital.

I let sho lay his head on my shoulder as I gently pat his head, feeling him sigh against my skin.

"You did a great job sho. You became a hero today. " I muttered as the others dragged the hero: native and pushed down onto his wound.

I wasn't that much injured seeing as I have bruises and some cuts on my arms and legs but it was nothing I couldn't handle.

"Just take a small nap, it's okay." I said to sho and he just nod before closing his eyes.

I sighed before looking out the window, silently praying that something like this should never happen ever again.
