Chapter 44

Kuro's pov

My match was next and I quickly excused myself from sho and the others, meaning I had to let go of his hand.

I ran through the halls and walked in to the waiting area. When I went inside I was shocked, shinso was there.

"Shinso? What are you doing here?" I said and closed the door behind me. He looked over at me and walked towards me.

"I'm just here to say good luck to you." He said and ruffled my hair. I smiled and gave him a hug.

"Thanks shinso but I think I won't need that this round! I got this in the bag!" I said and grinned.

"If course you do, now go do some stretches before the fight. I'll see you around then." He said and opened the door then walked out.

I giggled at his action, thankful that he came to give me good luck but I won't need that today. I'm positive I'm gonna win!

I did some stretches and calmed my beating heart as I got too excited.

'calm down girl, you got this. Just remember to fight and not stand there like an idiot.' I pep talked to myself as I breathe in and out.

Suddenly the door opened and All Might came in, he was smoking and he looks like he's in pain.

"Young Usagi! Your fight is about to begin!" He said and closed the door behind him.

"You know, you don't need to put up that facade with me right?" I said and he only nod.

"I suppose your right." He said and let go of his buff form while coughing.

I grabbed some water and gave it to him as he coughed out some blood.

"Doesn't transforming into buff All Might makes it worst?" I said and patted his back as he sat down.

"It does but I don't want any weakness to show as long as people think I'm the symbol of peace." He said and gulped down some water.

"I don't think that's a very good idea. Showing people your weakness doesn't mean your weak, it means you're human too so they don't have to rely on you all the time. " I stated and he looked at me dumbfounded.

"For a young woman like you, you are very wise young lady."He praised and I blushed while rubbing my arm.

"Erm, I mean it's common sense right?" I said and awkwardly chuckled. I stood up and patted my clothes.

"Well I think I should go, the fight should be ready any minute now." I said and he nodded, standing up he returned into his buff form.

"Ha Ha! Let us go, young Usagi!" He yelled and I only nod, leaving the room to the arena.

I ran into the arena as the crowd cheered loudly, I looked over at my class and waved at them. I could see ochaku, tsu and momo waving back at me. I also looked over at sho and gave him a smile and he only smiled back.

I looked over at my opponent, Mina as she did some stretches. When suddenly Present mic did his thing and commentated about us.

"Is something going to come out of those horns? Well? From the hero course, it's Ashido Mina!" He yelled through the mic and the crowd cheers loudly.

"Versus! The girl who kept pulling some awesome stunts over the whole festival! Also from the hero course! It's Usagi Kuro!" He stated and I couldn't help but blushed when he reminded me of each of the performance I pulled earlier.

I slapped both of my cheeks twice as I tried to concentrate. 'I'm gonna do this! Just remember to stay calm!' I thought and put on a determined face.
