Kuro Usagi's point of view
When I came home, it was about 5 in the afternoon. Sho didn't stay for a hangout since his father would probably nag him about it. I placed kumori down and he immediately ran around the place while I remove my shoes and opened the Tv as I went into the kitchen.
Aizawa was already on his way home so I made sure that I would get dinner ready by the time he comes home. I started the stove and grabbed all the ingredients for making curry since I was up for something yummy today.
I hum a tune as I listen to the news, when the curry was done, I placed it on the table and gathered the other plates until I heard the very one thing that made me lose my mind.
"The hero Ingenium was attacked in Hosu City about 3 days ago by the man who has killed 17 heroes and had injured 23 people that was beyond recovery-"
No, it can't be
"The man went in hiding for a few months but now he has made his appearance yet again by killing another of society's loving heroes-"
I refuse to think its him
"The hero killer-"
He couldn't have done this
"-Stain"
I dropped the plate that I was holding and it broke as the name rolled out of the Tv, my knees gave out and I was left gaping at the ground from the news. Aizawa came in and immediately went to my side when he saw me on the ground.
"Kuro? What's wrong?!" He said, concern laced on his voice and I only pointed at the Tv with tears streaming down my face. He looked at where I was pointing at before shutting the Tv off and bringing me to the sofa.
My breath became unsteady as if I couldn't breath and my heart was pounding against my chest loudly, my throat felt dry as if I haven't drunk water in days but luckily aizawa came to my aid and provided me with water.
"A-Aizawa, how i-is he there? I-I thought h-he w-was with y-you?" I managed to let out a sentence before going back into sobbing.
"The agency hasn't told me anything, something must've happened. I'll get the others on it, don't worry kuro, everything's going to be alright." He said as he comforted me by rubbing circles on my back.
I forcefully calmed myself down with the help of gulping down lots of water and taking slow, steady, deep breaths.
"You told me before that you've experienced being controlled, right? It happened on the sports festival too." He said and I nod, wiping away the stained tears on my face.
"And you don't think that he would've possibly killed or hurt another hero, right?" He said and yet again I nod at him, his face scrunched up in thought before asking me another question.
"If he doesn't want to kill or hurt another person and you both have been mind controlled before then there might be a possibility that he was being controlled when he attacked Ingenium." He explained and I looked up at him in confusion.
"But it doesn't cover the fact that I'm still me while Stain is out there being mind controlled." I said and he went back into thinking mode before staring at me again.
"You once said at your fight with that purple haired kid that he can't control you right? What if that's happening to you?" He explained again and there might be the possibility that his theory is correct.
"But how would that work? Either one, I have a high resistance against mind-controlled tricks or the serum that they injected in me is gone from my system." I said and we both looked at each other before he gave me a sympathetic look. Oh no, am I really gonna do this?
