Chapter 58

Kuro Usagi's point of view

"What?! Help the killer hero, stain?! Are you insane?" Midnight yelled and many others agreed with her while I stared at her.

"Oh honey, you don't even know me. How would you know if I'm insane or not?" I said with venom in my voice, clearly tired at her statement. They all went quiet as they saw my eyes, I know what's happening to them, it's changing colors again.

I shut my eyes and groaned as I slouch back on my shadow chair, feeling a headache coming. I rubbed my temples and it kinda helped with the headache a little.

"Kuro, you have to explain to us on why we should help get the hero killer back to you. You do know his criminal records and how he literally kills heroes am I right?" Principal nezu said, keeping calm about the whole situation. At least he's doing better than the other heroes, minus aizawa since he's known about this.

".... True but I have a perfectly good reason about this, trust me." I said as I stared back at him, not backing down until I have the answer I've been looking for.

"And what is that reason?" Snipe said and I sighed before looking away from them, feeling aizawa's concerned gaze on me.

"Just a few days ago, right before my match with bakugo in the sport's festival. I've been attacked with something." I started and I heard some of them whisper to themselves and thankfully, All Might kept quiet for once.

"They've injected me with something and I think it has something to do with what's happening with stain right now. Stain changed before all of this happened, before I even got here in this school, stain has been nothing but a sweetheart." I said and I felt tears forming in my eyes.

"You know about the unknown assassin on the authorities' hands? Yeah, that's him. The one who works under the government, in exchange for keeping me safe inside a forest, away from the league of villains." I said and blinked hard since the tears were clogging my sight.

"And about the thing they've injected in me, I know for a fact that they're not from the l.o.v., they don't have that kind of ability to go undercover like that." I said and I see snipe look at me confused.

"What about the purple mist I've heard that attacked you 1-a class? Doesn't he have teleportation?" He pointed out and I nod at him.

"That's the problem, if it was him. I would've immediately known; I would know since I've been with them longer than anyone else here. Those people had a totally different aura and I feel like we're facing something that we shouldn't be taking lightly." I said and they all nod, at least they understand what I'm trying to say here.

"Now about the serum they gave you, what do you think does it exactly do?" Mic asked me and at this point, I really felt my throat go dry. I licked my lips and was about to answer when aizawa beat me to it.

"They get mind controlled. They get a huge migraine when it happens and they literally can't control their body but they can see what's happening. Apparently, their controlled bodies can react to them but they won't do anything they want." He explained and I nod, thankful that he spoke up.

"So, the question here is, how kuro here is still standing on her own while stain is out there being a maniac that we believe is being mind controlled right now." He said and they all went into whispers once again.

"Now, we believe that either one, Kuro has the power to counter the serum or two, that the serum is out of her system. Why do we think that kuro has the power to counter the mind control system? A student from the general studies has the power to control someone just by answering them but she somehow manages to not get controlled by him." He explained his theory and my mind into full thinking mode.
