JP's POV
Everything was going well just waiting on the completion of the sell of my apartment and I was back down South as planned. Me and Lena has seen a property and we had put an offer in which had been accepted we was just waiting now as we was in a chain.
We was in a really lucky position what with both our combined deposits and salaries we had our heart set on a four bedroom semi detached house. The location was perfect it was ten minutes from my parents and Lena's Aunt and Uncle's and it had good transport links.
We decided on the house as one of the bedrooms would be an office for me. Main bedroom for me and Lena but the remaining two for guests or when Dan and Zane's kids stay over but most importantly the additional bedrooms would be for our children if we was graced with them.
Lena was off this weekend and I had been sneaking about for the last six weeks getting everything ready for tonight. I had told her my work was giving me a send off and we had to attend tonight.
I wake up early on Saturday morning telling Lena I am treating her to a day out. We head up town and I persuade her to buy a new dress for tonight telling her how important it is to me as even though it is a send off it is still a works kind of corporate do. She reluctantly agrees as she doesn't want to waste money what with us buying the house. Finally she picks out a stunning elegant Rose Gold V wrap over sequin dress with a split up the side this was perfect for the evening and the events ahead.
We have a spot of lunch and we head home but I take a detour. I head to an exclusive beauty salon.
"What we doing here JP?" she asks
"Am I not allowed to spoil my girlfriend? I reply.
"Yeah but.....
"But nothing I am treating you to the full works....I have already booked you in and arranged for a cab to pick you up at 18.30PM".
"But it's only 15:00PM" she exclaims and I laugh to myself and reply
"Off you trot...give your name and Melanie will take good care of you.....see you later darling".
I watch her step out the car confused and I chuckle as I drive off.
I didn't know about beauty things....the only people who knew about what was really happening tonight was Jimmy, Dan and Zane. I had popped in to the beauty salon in the week and spoke to the manager Melanie who basically went through everything treatment it had cost a pretty penny but I wanted Lena to feel her absolute best. I had been sold a manicure, pedicure, facial, body exfoliation and hair and make up!
I had privately booked the whole of Lorenzo's restaurant for all our family and friends. I had Pamela and her Husband heading down along with Jeremy and Carol Baker, Maz and some of my sales team was heading down. I was getting nervous I just hoped she yes! Everyone thought it was just a send off party I was throwing and I had put on the invites to be there for 19:00PM. I had even done a seating plan.....that's how much this meant to me.
Lena arrives home at 18:45 PM. She looks stunning her hair up make up done she looked a million dollars.
"Well?" she says.
"You look stunning Le" I stare at her in amazement.
"Thank you JP....you really didn't need to spoil me" she gushed.
"Come on get your dress on I got a cab for 19:00PM" I look at her hopelessly in love with the woman before me.
"You look gorgeous by the way.....is that a new suit?" she asks....it was but I didn't tell her that.
