Lena's POV
We had got a cab in to town and ended up in a lovely Thai restaurant. The food was amazing it wasn't all about the meal JP had been so attentive and any outsider looking in would of thought we was a proper couple like girlfriend or boyfriend material or even more serious.
In between courses he held my hand and told me numerous of times how gorgeous I looked and that he loved me. He mentioned again that he would go ahead with the transfer telling me he wanted to be with me and could sacrifice one week out of six if it meant spending five weeks with me. He took me up on the offer and agreed to stay with me. I was ecstatic we would basically be living together and my heart felt completed.
We head out the restaurant around 9PM and we had only had a glass of wine each over dinner. We decided to grab a bottle of bubbly and head back to JP's to celebrate his job move and his belated birthday. As we leave, JP bumps into Maz a guy I recognise from the conference at my hotel and he was with a group of twelve people and that new JP.
JP and I was asked to join them all for a drink in the local pub they all worked for the same company and department but JP was all their senior. I could see them all male and female checking me out, the men giving JP "their" seal of approval and the women was all very welcoming.
As we head in to the pub JP pulls me back and says
"Babe, we are having one drink then we are leaving....I don't want them getting too close or knowing too much ok?"
I nod, I know how private he is.
They all sit down at the booth whilst JP, myself and Maz head up to the bar. Like he knows JP orders two bottles of white wine, bottle of prosecco, bottles of beer and shots. We head back to the booth as the staff get the order together to bring over. It wasn't long and everyone is helping themselves to a drink. JP stays right by side as he pours me a glass of wine.
"So Boss...is this your girlfriend?" one of the young girls asks she is clearly already pissed and will regret asking this.
JP looks at me smiles and replies
"And what does it have to do with you Katie?" he says smiling at her.
"Well I think you well suit....I'm sorry but I don't know your name...but she is fucking gorgeous...nothing to do with me but you two look well loved up" she says and hiccups.
"Is that right Katie" JP says taking this laughing and I smile at her, she had been so sincere and honest and I liked that.
I take a sip of my drink when I notice two girls come in the pub.....one who is Bianca the receptionist...great.
I look at JP and I see that he has clocked them and I see the change in him, he is screwing, his face taunt and he is scowling.
"Le lets make a move yeah" He says half pleading with me.
Something is not right and my gut instinct tells me to see this feeling out.
"Let me finish this drink and then we will make a move yeah" I say.
I see JP swallow hard and lock eyes with me. Nah something is definitely not right and it is going to come out what ever it is.
The other girl with Bianca comes over alone. I see everyone look at her and go quiet as she says
" Hi Jon...sorry to interrupt your evening, could I have a quick word with you?".
JP looks at me looking for my permission.
"I'm just gonna nip to the toilet" I say to JP.
I take it this is Robyn. I trusted JP, I could tell how awkward he was and what ever she needed to say I did not need to be privy to it I thought I would give them space I never knew anything about their relationship.
