Didnt see it coming || Liam O'donovan

Chapter eighteen

•Riley's POV
Our flight landed and we were all exhausted. It was 6am so we all went into our assigned hotel rooms and immediately fell asleep. Me and Nina shared obviously,lily and Carmen,Tee and Johnny, Sapphire and Elektra (much to sapphire's dismay), Frank and Liam,and Harry and Toby,Tracy and Gina,and Gus had to share with Mike. We were all sleeping peacefully till Mike came and woke us up at 10am. I showered and gave Nina a shower too before we both got dressed and went downstairs to the lobby and found everyone there. We had breakfast and then Mike pulled out a list of places we could visit. We decided on going to the beach and Mike told us to get ready in 30 minutes. I went upstairs and put on some denim shorts and a Louis Blue shirt and threw my hair up in a messy ponytail. Ugh great now I have to spend about 20 minutes covering my scars with makeup. I'm busy blending out the product trying to hide the scars when I hear a knock on the door and I answer "come in" without looking up. Cause I already know who it is by the knock.

•Liam's POV
Im checking out the list of places in Milan when I notice there's a concert tomorrow night. Just so happens to be a One direction concert which I know  will cause Riley to flip cause shes obsessed with them. I get up to go show her and knock on her and Nina's hotel room. I hear her reply come in and I feel a wave of sadness come over me as I see her trying to cover the scars on her previous skin.
"What's up?" She asks as she continues blending
"Thought I might show you something"
"Not interested" she said without looking up and I know it's 100% cause she thinks it's gonna be some prank. Cant blame her she's had too much experience.
"Well I guess I'm just going to have to go to this one direction concert alone" I sigh dramatically as I turn around to leave the room
"WHAT" I smirk at the effect my words had
She rushes over and attempts to take the paper from my hands but I don't let her
"NO NO NO LIAM O'DONOVAN YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME"
"Thought you weren't interested" I grin
"LIAM I SWEAR TO GOD IF YO-"
"OKAY OKAY" I cut her off and hand her the paper knowing that if I let her finish that threat I'm gonna regret teasing her
"Oh my god oh my god oh my god" she freaks out and it's a bit funny to be honest,she's never into boys and never the girly type but when it comes to 1D she'd probably sell her soul.
"Figured we could go together if you plan on calming down anytime soon" I laugh
"Better words have never come out of your mouth O'Donovan"
I laugh as she gives me back the paper and goes back to trying to hide her scars. I wait for her and when she's done we go back down to the lobby and wait for everyone to come.
Once we're all here Mike is struggling trying to get the Italian receptionist to understand that he wants to know which bus is leaving for the beach. Riley goes over to the receptionist and uses google translate to ask her. I snicker at the look on mikes face saying "why didn't I think of that" and the Receptionist types into google translate in Italian the bus number and time it leaves,Riley clicks the translate button and apparently its bus number 5 and leaves in 10 minutes. We go over to the bus stop and wait for the bus to come and when it finally does we go and sit down. Riley sits next to me with Nina in her lap and I notice some guy around our age checking her out. Geez sometimes I think she's too good looking for her own good. I glare at the guy and he takes the hint although Riley didn't notice seeing as she was looking at the scenery Milan has to offer through the bus window. Our stop is up and we get off the bus and Nina and Harry immediately start running towards the sand and start building sand castles, lily tee and Carmen are "tanning" or whatever,sapphires taking pictures,Elektras just looking around,Gus is taking notes on what's going on (mate we're on holiday lighten up),Johnny and Toby start a game of volleyball,and me frank and Riley are just chilling.

•Riley's POV
This warm beach weather and slight cool breeze is really making me pity England weather. I bury my toes in the warm sand and it honestly feels so nice. I put my earphones in and listen to some music and take some pictures of Nina and Harry and of the scenery,and I see Liam in the water and decide to go and give him a scare.I sneak up behind him a splash a ton of water onto him causing him to fall over and I literally have to wipe tears of laughter off my face
"Oh it's on"
Oh crap. Before you know it we're in the sea having a water fight breathing in the salty water and fresh air having the time of our lives and both drenching in water. The water has made his wet white shirt stick to him and has made his stomach visible and oh my god those abs are hot.
