The fourth class of mine went fast.
I sighed inwardly as I headed up hall to Reading. I felt a hand wrap around my waist as I got weird looks from other students. News travels fast in the school... I thought, as I headed into the classroom with Mark.
Mrs. Kletscher walked in front of the class as we all got seated, but Mark and I stayed at the doorway. I waited patiently as Mrs. Kletscher fiddled with her papers and, finally, looked at us and cocked an eyebrow.
"Yes?" She said, glancing at Mark. "Oh, a new student?" I nodded shyly, and went to sit in my seat, in front of Matt. I watched as Mark sat down behind Lue, next to the wall.
I got up, ready to get my binder, but Mrs. K stopped us.
"Don't get your binders out just yet, guys." She said. "The principal asked me to discuss something with you." Murmurs went around the class as I slowly sat back down.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but you guys really need to stop doing sexual harassment to each other." Mrs. K hissed out, rubbing her temples. I looked down as my eye went wide. I flinched at the words 'sexual harassment.'
"We never did any of those things." Rem sneered out. I growled out a threat to him, only low enough for me to hear.
"Say you, Remington." I said, louder than I wanted it to be. I sunk my head lower as everyone stared at me.
I glared at Remington and his stupid smirk as he said, "Oh? How would you know what I do, Kell?" I blinked hard as Rem used Mark's nickname for me.
"Well," I hissed, propping an elbow on my desk. "Judging from the way you talk, it'd be no wonder if you did that to girls."
Remington suddenly stood up, walking over to me, ignoring the teachers orders to sit back down. "Do what, Kell? Sexually harass someone? Huh, princess?" He spat out the word princess as he trailed his finger down my cheek.
I growled in protest and was about to dig my nails into his skin, before I heard shuffling over at the wall. Next thing I knew, Mark had Remington on the ground, a bruise forming on his face.
"Never, and I repeat, NEVER touch Kelly." Mark hissed, his eyes blazing with anger. Remington looked up at him in shock as silence settled over the classroom.
"Woo!" I whooped a cheer and held up my hand for a high five, which got returned by a smiling Mark. I stood up, smiling, and towered over Rem, who looked up in fear.
"Don't you dare touch me, freak." My smile disappeared as he said this. I straightened up and stared at the door as his words echoed around my head. I smiled a toothy grin, showing my fangs.
"Thanks Rem," I hissed, looking down at him. "but aren't you going to thank Mark for your wonderful face arrangement? I think purple suits a face like yours, human." I laughed lightly, making my pupils turn red, engulfing my irises.
Remington finally stuttered out a thank you, and soon enough the bell rang. I looped my arm with Mark's, and we were the first to get out of the classroom.
"Where to, princess?" Mark asked, looking down at me. I smiled lightly as he lightly kissed the top of my head.
Ah, what am I doing? I thought angrily. I can't fall in love with him...
"We go to science." I said softly, looking up at him, smiling.
Or can I? I asked in my head.
