I'm Starving

"Sir. Mr.Evans! Chris!". I wake up and realize that I'm on the floor with two nurses hovering over me. "What happened?" I asked, "You fainted when we were bringing back Ms Bennett." I look over and the machine was back to normal. I sigh in relief with my hand on my chest and get back up. "I'm so sorry for the trouble." I said to the nurses looking at each of them. "Don't apologize Mr. Evans, it's not an easy thing to have your girlfriend go through something like this." One of the nurses said. They gave me a slight smile and patted my back. "She's stable right now so, we'll come back to check on her in an hour." one of the nurses nurse said. "Okay." I responded. As they left, I sat down next to y/n and held her hand, "Bug, please don't leave me okay? That was.....terrifying. Please come back to me." I kissed her hand and held it tight as I laid my head on the side of her bed. Suddenly, I felt her squeeze my hand, I quickly brought my head up and asked, "Y/N? Love, are you awake?" but, nothing was said. Even though, I got up and grabbed a nurse from the hall and told her what happened. She had a wide smile plastered on her face and said, "She could be trying to wake up! What were you doing when she did that?" "I was just talking to her, asking her to come back." "Okay, sometimes when they hear the voice of a loved one, it helps them wake up. Try it again." I nodded, sat beside her again, and took her hand, "Y/N, can you please come back to me? Think about all of the things we will do once you're awake! We'll have to stay home for awhile so the press can come down but, we can have movie marathons and I'll buy all the ruffles and Dr. Pepper you want! I'll take care of you, I promise. I love you to the moon and back bug, matter of fact, I'm in love with you. There's no one I rather be beside right now but, you. So, come back." After about two minutes, the nurse and I figured that the slight squeeze was just a small miracle. So, she left the room. I became hungry and I thought I would just grab a quick snack from the cafeteria so, I walked towards the door. Then I heard a voice I haven't heard in a long time, "Yes." the voice said weakly, I turned around and there she was, she's awake. I smiled from ear to ear and gasped in shock, I went to  her and asked, "Yes what bug?" "Yes, I'll move in with you." She said giving me one of her signature smiles. I chuckled and hugged her so tight, brushed my hand through her hair, and kissed her head.

The doctor came in and checked on y/n to determine when she would be able to leave. "All her vitals are stable and she's all healed up from the surgeries she had about a month ago. But we want to keep her one more night to take some blood tests and make sure we don't miss anything." "Okay doc, whatever you say." She said as she held my cheek in her hand, the doctors looked between us and said, "I'll leave you two to catch up." He left the room and closed the door behind him, "Oh my goodness, I missed you bug! I could hear some things you were saying by the way." "What! Really? Then, you must've heard all of my rambling." "Well, I couldn't hear everything but I heard some. Like when your mom came." "Oh wow bug, I'm sorry you didn't get to formally meet her." "It's okay, I'll meet her soon I'm sure." "Yeah. Um, we should probably call everyone and tell them you're awake." She nodded and I grabbed my phone, I had to buy two phones since y/n and I lost them in the accident. I first called our mothers and they were thrilled to hear that she was awake then, I gave her the phone I bought and she called everyone else. After we made the phone calls, she held her stomach and said, "I'm starving!" I laughed at her sudden outburst and replied, "Let me go find the doctor and ask if you can eat something." I kissed her forehead and left the room to ask the doctor and he said that we had to wait for the blood results to come back. I shook my head and an idea sparked. Maybe I should call some of my friends and surprise y/n. I immediately made a Group FaceTime call with Scarlett, Robert, Liz, Sebastian, Chris H., Anthony and Mark. The phone rang and there were all their faces, "Oh my god, Chris! How is y/n?" Robert asked, "Yeah, how's she doing?" asked Liz, "It took you this long to buy a phone Evans? We missed you!" Chris said. I laughed at everyone's bombarding  questions and said, "She's fine. In fact, she just woke up." Everyone's face lit up with excitement and I even saw Liz jumping up and down, "Yes!! So, when do we finally get to meet her?" Seb asked, "Actually, that is exactly why I called you guys. Are any of you in L.A. right now?" "I am." Said Robert, Seb, Liz, Scarlett, and Anthony. "Oh, I'm sorry. I can't make it mate. I'm visiting home with my family at the moment. But give her a warm welcome back for me!" Chris said, "Yeah same here Chris, I'm sorry. I'm on vacation with the family right now. But I'm really happy to hear you guys are doing well." "It's fine guys and thanks Mark. Is everybody else free?" "I think so." Anthony said, "Alright, I'm gonna send you guys the address to the hospital. Thanks so much, let me know when you guys get here." "Alright buddy." Robert said. We hung up and I went back in the room to keep her company.

After about an hour, the guys showed up and surprised y/n. The joy that emerged from her face when she saw everyone was just heart warming.  She finally got to meet everyone from her favorite type of movies and she got along very quickly. Especially with Scarlett and Lizzie, I could already tell those three are gonna be a dynamic trio. Then, everyone started asking about how it felt when she was in the coma, what exactly happened during the accident, and overall how she felt. "Do you know it was a hassle to find out which hospital you guys were in about a month ago? It was extremely difficult trying to get information from anyone." Robert said before the room filled with laughter. "We're just so glad you guys are okay. I remember when Chris would go on and on about you." Sebastian said causing y/n to hold my hand and blush. "Yeah, we all know how big of a hopeless romantic this guy is." said Anthony. Y/N jolted with an epiphany saying, "That reminds me. I have to tell you this story of Chris coming home drunk." I cover my face in embarrassment awaiting for the story to reveal, "So, Robert came to my house with Chris over his shoulder and he was wasted. He put him on the couch and left then, Chris was trying to talk to me with his sluggish voice and ended up throwing up. All over me." Everyone in the room either made a shocked or disgusted face, "Damn Chris, throwing up on your girl? Not very smooth." Anthony said chuckling, "Not one of my proudest moments." I said wincing at the thought. We continued the night either speaking of the past or talking about upcoming movies or events we're planning. After about two hours, everyone was ready to leave. So, they all gave y/n their numbers and Scarlett and Lizzie made plans to go out for coffee one day once she gets out of the hospital.

When we were alone once again, she looked at me and pulled me in for a hug. She held me tight and held my face with her hands and pecked my lips. "I missed you....so much bug." "I missed you too."
