You're a worldwide famous actress who auditions for a romance movie and gets the part. However, the person who plays your love interest becomes the one you can't seem to get away from. You were never one who believed in love but, there's a first for...
I'm guessing I must've woke up late, Y/N is usually right beside me. Weird. Picking up my phone, I saw the time which was.....7:28? It's still early. Looking around the room, Dodger was also missing. Where are those two? I washed up and walked down the stairs to see y/n and Dodger on the couch watching TV. Getting their attention, Y/N turned to me with ecstatic eyes and shrieked, "Good morning, baby!" as she motioned me to sit next to her and Dodger. "Good morning, what's going on?" I asked as I sat down, "Why do you assume something is going on?" "Because of that look. I know that look. It means you're up to something." She doesn't respond and stares back as her smile grew wider by the second. "Well?" "Maybe I do. Maybe I have an early Christmas gift.." She explains and placed her computer that was on her lap onto the coffee table.
She then reached under the couch and pulled out a small wide but flat red box with little trees on it.

Still with an ear to ear grin on her face, she hands me the gift. "Oh, that's not fair! I would've got you a little something if I knew we were doing gifts this early!" I whined while taking the box as she rolled her eyes, "Don't worry about me, just open it!" She excitedly told me. I chuckled a bit as I took off the lid and moved off all of the tissue paper. In the box there was a plane ticket to Boston for next week. I lifted my head in wonder as I struggle to form any words, "H-How did you? W-Why-" "Because you need to see your family. It's been months since you've seen them and I know it's been hard." "I can't take this, bug. I don't want to leave you again." "It'll be okay. I've asked Krystal if she could fly in and stay with me for the week while you're gone. And I'm definitely positive that Sebastian will be here too, if she is." She smiled.
This girl just keeps on getting more perfect by the second. She's right, I do miss them. I'm usually used to not seeing them for a long period of time but, after the accidents, all I wanted to do is be with them. I couldn't even form any words so, I just embraced her while nuzzling my head into her neck, taking in the sweet vanilla spice smell she always has. Her laugh vibrated through her chest as she took one hand, brushing a hand through the back of my hair and the other hand, running her fingertips up and down alongside my back. "Thank you....so much." I muttered holding back some tears. "You're so very welcome, my love." I gave her a peck and decided to give one of her gifts a little early too.
"Since we're giving gifts, I might as well give mine." "I thought you didn't have anything yet?" "Well it's nothing physical but, it's still kind of a gift." "Well, go on with it!" She excitedly asked, "Okay, well this gift is 100% your choice. But, I signed you up for self defense classes. It can be a cool thing to learn and also help you fight for yourself when I'm not there." She paused and looked down at her lap. Maybe a self defense class wasn't the best choice for a Christmas gift. Great job, Chris. "I-I mean, you don't have to go if you don't want to." I should've gave her the diamonds first. "Oh no, bug! I love it!" She shrieked, jumping on me with her arms around my neck, placing kisses all over my face. "You do?" I asked confusingly, "Yeah, I do. This is exactly what I needed! My therapist was telling me self-defense could be a good way to boost my safety and confidence. Oh, this is too great! When would it start?" "On Monday."
