CHRIS's POV
I was currently waiting in my car outside for Sebastian's text back on whether or not Y/N was distracted so I could come in. It's been about 5 minutes so, I'm guessing it's taking awhile to have her occupied with something. Finally, my phone buzzed, "Krystal's with her in the kitchen, come in quickly! I disarmed the alarm." the text read. Grabbing my bags, I quietly walked up to the door and unlocked it, revealing Sebastian on the couch, waving me to hurry up. I gently placed my bags down on the ground and closed the door before tip toeing behind Y/N. Krystal smiled to herself, walked over to the couch, and started recording. Then, I placed my hand on her arm.Suddenly, she swiftly pulled my arm forward and hauled me over her shoulder resulting with me on the floor in pain. "I guess those classes are paying off." I groaned, squeezing my eyes shut. "Oh my god! Chris?! You scared me!" She said shocked as she crouched down to help me. "I'm so sorry." She gasped with her hands over her mouth, slightly giggling. "It doesn't feel too good, does it?" Sebastian chuckled. She then got on top of me and tightly embraced me, "I thought you weren't supposed to come home until tomorrow!" "Yeah but, I missed you so much. Plus it's Christmas time, you told me to go be with my family so, that's exactly what I'm doing." I grinned.
Before she could say anything, she kissed me then, helped me off the ground. "Well, that's definitely going on Instagram." Sebastian retorted replaying the video on his phone, snickering along with Krystal. I rolled my eyes and drew my eyes back to her, "You didn't have to do that, bug." "Oh, but I did. My mom would've kicked me out if I didn't come back at least a day early. She felt bad that you didn't come along." I explained, "And I have something I want to talk to you about." I added, "So do I. Is it bad?" She asked with a bit of worry in her eyes, "No, no. Nothing bad, you?" "Never.". "Well, if you guys need to talk, we can pack up and go to my place." Sebastian said getting up from the couch,
"No, you guys don't have to do that. You can stay for the night. Besides, I wanted to go out for a drive. Are you okay with that?" "Yeah, let's go." She gladly accepted. "That eggnog is going to have to wait until I come back guys." Y/N added while we walked to the door and put on a jacket. "Oh, that was just a ruse for you to get distracted. I think we'll be okay with the cookies and milk." Krystal mentioned while grabbing the tray and plopping down next to Seb who's flipping through the channels. "Well, okay then." She said smiling and grabbing my hand as we walked out and drove away.
After a few minutes of driving around with music playing on the radio and hand holding, we spoke up, "So I-" "Do you want to-". We looked at each other and burst out laughing, "How about you go first." I suggested as I pulled into an empty parking lot. "I have two things I want to talk about actually." "I do too, what's the first thing?" I questioned while putting the car in park and turning my body towards her. ".....I think I want to start acting again." she said anxiously, "Oh my god, that's great love!" "You think so?" She asked more gleeful. "Yes, of course it is! I think I want to do the same. The Russo brothers called me earlier this week to tell me about an upcoming Avengers movie with Captain America, if I'm ready for it." "It's funny you say that because Kelly told me that there was an audition waiting for me involving a new Marvel movie." She admit excitedly, "Do you want to take it?" I asked, "I do now since I know you'll be in it." She giggled. "Okay, so what's your second thing?" I asked holding her hand in mine, "I'm ready." She simply said.
"Ready for what?" "I'm ready to hear the church bells, walking down the aisle to see you at the end of it, to be your wife, Chris." She admitted softly, stroking her thumb against my hand. "Well, it's funny you say that." I said with a smile, slightly mocking her, "Because that was one of the things I wanted to talk about." "Really?! I wasn't sure if you were ready to." "I mean, why wouldn't I? I know it's been rough after you were taken but, that's even more of a reason to do it. Life has taught me not to waste anymore time and I want to be your husband, I'm tired of being your fiancé." I joked, "I was saying the same thing to my mom earlier. What a coincidence." She laughed. The car became quiet as we admired each other until the radio started playing O Christmas Tree and an idea came to mind. "Do you want to dance with me?" I offered and she nodded. We both came out of the car and I gave my hand to her, pulling her in as we swayed together in the moonlight. Her head rested upon my chest along with her hand which I held while wrapping my other arm around her.
