CHRIS's POV

Sunday, December 12th | 2:06 pm

These last couple of days have been the absolute best! I knew I missed my family but being here with them made me realize that I missed them and Boston itself. Especially around this time of year, the streets are filled with Santa decorations on lawns and colorful bulbs lighting up the blocks at night. Y/N would love this. I don't even know how I could top this, this was one of the best Christmas gifts I've ever gotten. I got her a diamond pendant necklace along with some other things like a new laptop, makeup (with the help of Krystal), these Bond Touch bracelets (for when we're far away from each other), and this album book that says "Our Adventure Book" like from the one in the Disney movie Up. I think it'll be nice to start putting our memories in a scrapbook and one day, our kids will be able to see how their parents were madly in love.

"Chris! Come up here!" My mom shouted from upstairs, breaking me from my day dreaming. "I'm coming mom!" I yelled back, running up the steps and into her room. She turns around and motions me with open arms, hugging me tightly. "I'm going to miss you." She cooed, "I'm going to miss you too, mom." "Do you have everything packed for tonight?" "Yeah, I finished not too long ago. I'm glad I found a flight back home so last minute." "So am I! Y/N's going to be so happy that you're coming home early. How's she been?" "She's been doing really well. The off days are becoming less frequent. And now that we're finally home for Christmas, she's loving it. So I've been trying my best to make it great for her." I smiled, "Oh, that's amazing sweetie. She definitely deserves it after everything. Have you told her about what you've been thinking about?" She questioned, perking her eyebrow up.

"I haven't yet, I was going to ask her when I got home. I'm just a bit nervous. Asking her to move over here is a big step. I don't know how she'll react." I confessed, scratching my head. During this week, it just made me realize how home sick I've been. I know when we start going back to work, we wouldn't be home as much but, I think we could raise a family here. I can just imagine us taking our kids sledding and taking a trip to Disney land one day, just the thought of it warms my heart. "Just be honest with her and I'm sure she'll understand why you would want to move. She's head over heels for you!" She gleamed, caressing my cheek. Before I could speak, my phone rings and I saw Y/N's name pop up. "Speaking of." I chuckled. "Please make sure you don't say anything about me leaving tonight. It's a surprise." I added and she nodded.
