Chris's POV
I guess I must've been extremely tired last night because I don't remember a thing. All I remember is eating dinner and hanging out with y/n's family which was such a good time. I was finally feeling relaxed after awhile, especially when her uncles started to talk about football and politics. And her nieces and nephew are just the cutest little beings. Man, I can't wait to have kids with y/n.I get up from the bed, kissing her forehead on my way to the bathroom. Wherever that is. I walk down the hall and see a door slightly open so, I knocked to make sure no one was there and went in. Thank God this wasn't someone's room, that would've been awkward. I think I want to shave my beard but, I don't know if y/n would like that. For some reason, she loves my beard. Every time she gets a chance, she just feels my beard. It's weird but, whatever makes her happy. I quickly get washed up and come out with a towel around my waist to see Maddison right in my face, startling me.
"Oh! You scared me." I said holding my hand up to my chest, "You're up early...why so?" Her eyes looked me up and down once again as I slightly rolled my eyes at the gesture. I'm starting to see what all the fuss is about when it comes to her. "We're about to leave in a few hours, gonna head back to L.A." "Aw, leaving so soon? I thought I was starting to warm up to you." She got closer to me placing her hands on my chest, I pushed her off not too hard where she got hurt but, enough to get her out of my way. I scoffed as I shook my head, "You do realize I'm getting married to your sister, who I love tomorrow right?" "But why are you marrying someone like her? She thinks just because she got one good role, that makes her the best actress in the world?" "She's one of the best actresses I know, why are you so against your sister?" "You're just being biased. And I have my reasons. I just don't understand why you're with her. She doesn't deserve you. She only thinks about herself." At this point, I could feel my blood boiling at the rude comments she's making about y/n, "Your sister is literally the most selfless person I've ever met. She puts everyone before herself! And sometimes that's a very hard thing to do, even I can't do that all the time. If anything, I don't deserve her. Now, if you can excuse me."
I shake my head again as I walked back to our room, and there she was. Wide awake with a pout on her face, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Baby, what's wrong?" I asked concerned, hugging her, "You're the best fiancé a girl could have." She said smiling weakly, "Oh, you heard all that?" "Yes, that was incredibly sweet. And I'm pretty sure the whole house heard it, they probably just minded their business." I chuckled and wiped her tears away, kissing her soft lips. "Anything for you. Do you think I should keep the beard?" "Oh my goodness, yes! I love you with or without the beard but, it makes you look even sexier." "Well, good to know." I chirped before getting dressed. "Everything's gonna be okay, right?" She asked, I tilted my head in confusion as she said, "For the wedding, I mean." I smile at her and held her head in my hands as I kissed her forehead. "Everything will be wonderful. We did everything we needed to do. We sent out invitations, the venue is booked, our honeymoon spot is booked, caterers are ready, everyone has their clothes. We're prepared." She nodded, giving me a quick smile before walking into the bathroom.
We said our goodbyes and got in the car to drive to the airport. "Have a safe trip!" Maddison yelled out a little too happily before we drove off. "Did she sound a little too cheerful to you?" "Yeah but knowing her, she was probably just happy that I left." I shrugged and took her word for it, it is her sister so she would know. "I can't believe we're getting married tomorrow." She said as I saw her gazing at me in the corner of my eye. "I can't believe we're getting married too, love." I took her hand and kissed it before directing my focus back on the road. "So, are we going to talk about the Sebastian and Krystal thing?" I asked as she looked out the window, smiling to herself. "Well, I knew she always kind of had a thing for Sebastian but when she actually got to meet with him, she freaked out. Although I was half asleep, I remember she called me one night saying that Sebastian asked for her number. And she was screaming at the top of her lungs." "I wonder why Sebastian hasn't told me anything yet." "He probably doesn't want to mention it right before the wedding or something." "Yeah, he probably has a good reason."
We stopped at a red light and I took the time to just look around the area. Surprisingly, there wasn't any traffic. There was actually no traffic at all, we're the only ones in the intersection. "Um, don't you think it's weird that there's no one.....here? Like there's no traffic whatsoever." She turns her head to respond but, she had the most terrified look on her face. I furrow my eyebrows before she screamed, "Watch ou-" I quickly glanced over to my side and a car crashed into the car, causing the car to spin out of control until it hit a side pole. My ears are ringing, I can't open my eyes or move. I felt the car move a bit but, I'm not sure what's going on. Oh god. Y/N. I try to fight my way up but, someone injected something into my neck, making it hard to move. It's like I have sleep paralysis just without seeing the dark figures. Finally, my hearing slowly came back and I heard screaming. It's her. Why is this happening right now? "Chris!! Help me!" The last word was muffled, it was as if she was getting further away from me. And I can't do anything to get to her.
Y/N's POV
Before I could even pry my eyes open, I felt something get injected into my neck. I screamed out to Chris before my body became limp. I tried to fight it but, whatever is in my system. It's strong. I think I might-I think I'll sleep now.****4 Hours Later****
My eyes feel glued shut but, I'm starting to wake up from whatever the hell someone drugged me with. Slowly, my eyes opened and I was in an empty room. I moved around but, my arms and legs were tied to a chair. It looked like a huge abandoned factory. It was a complete mess, to put it nicely. From inside, the windows were boarded, the shabby wood paneling and the pealing door that was bolted with iron rods, all looked scary and threatening enough to keep stray cats away. Spiders building webs at the corners of the room and the only light source for the dank, dark building were the cracks within the roof and barricades over the windows. Throwing stripes of light into the near destroyed building.
Suddenly, I hear footsteps of someone coming from the dark, echoing on the wooden floor. The stillness of the room sent shivers down my spine as I waited for the person to come into the light. Tears escape my eyes, running away upon my cheeks, leaving my body as if they cannot believe who stood before them. "Hey sweetheart. Long time no see?". The fear sits on me like a pillow over my mouth and nose. Enough air gets by it, allowing my body to keep functioning but it's crippling all the same. Yet, I felt a burning sensation of anger course through my skin as if I'm on fire. "What......the hell Nicholas?" I spoke weakly, as he circled around me, snickering. "What, no more Nick? Do you not miss me? Too caught up with your boyfriend?" Oh my god, Chris. "What did you do to him you fucking psycho?!" "Ouu, since when did you use such heavy curse words? That's not like you babygirl. Looks like I was right about him being a bad influence on you." I looked up at him coldly and scowled, "What......did you do?" "I just....crashed into your car, leaving him paralyzed." He said getting closer to me. I spat in his face and he backed up in disbelief before he wiped it off.
He roughly grabbed my jaw, making me wince. That's going to leave a bruise. "I love you, you know that?! I don't want to hurt you but, I will. Behave. Or I'll make you do it myself..........and it's only temporary. He'll be fine. For now." He released his grasp on me and looked back into the dark corner of the room, where he first entered, "What do you mean for now?" Ignoring my question he says, "Come on out! She's up." The sound of heels clicking on the wooden, creaky floor get closer and closer. And I see a face very familiar yet, not surprising. "Shocked to see me sissy?"
