Hey everyone! I know, its been awhile since I updated, I'm very sorry about that and hope this story makes up for it. Also, this was requested by Elkri2301 (as well as many other readers) but the original story belongs to her.Bonnie felt something soft underneath her. Sitting up, she forced her tired eyes open and tried to identify what she was sleeping on. It was white, fluffy and warm, not something Derrick would've given her.
"Your awake."
She nearly jumped out of her skin when Derrick spoke from behind her. She turned her head afraid of what he had in store for today. But the giant man standing in the doorway wasn't Derrick.
Her mind raced as fast as her heart, Who was this man? Why was he here? Or rather, Why was she here?
She stared at him in terror, What would he do to her? She hoped it wouldn't be as bad as what Derrick did.
He tilted his head a little at her, "Bonnie?" He asked softly, "Do you remember me?"
She stared intently at him, her mind searching for his identity.
"It's Dylan....Sam's friend." He said gently as he noticed her very confused looks.
She blinked a few times before a look a realization passed over her small face.
"D-dylan?" She whispered, her voice cracking.
He smiled gently at her and said softly, "Do you remember me now?"
She closed her eyes as the details of last nights events came flooding back to her mind. She opened her eyes and nodded at him, "Yes...." Her body trembled as she spoke, thinking of Sam, did he beat Derrick up? Or did Derrick beat Sam up? She shuddered at the thought.
"Are you cold?" He asked suddenly as he saw her shudder.
She shook her head, "No..." She lied. She was cold, but she didn't even know Dylan at all, and she didn't want him to think of her as needy or demanding.
"Your shivering Bonnie." He stated as he frowned slightly at her.
She paled, "I-" She burst into tears, "Please don't hurt me!" She wrapped her arms around herself tightly and pulled the blanket over herself.
"Whoa, what? Hurt you?" He echoed as he walked slowly to the bed and knelt down beside it.
"Bonnie, I know your scared, but I'd never hurt you." He whispered softly to the lump under the blanket.
The blanket slowly was pulled away and Bonnie peeked out to look at him. Her eyes glistened as tears rolled down her pale face.
"Hey...don't cry, it's alright." He whispered gently. "I'm not gonna hurt you Bonnie."
She sniffled and wiped her nose on her sleeve, "I'm sorry...I'm just....Derrick..." She mumbled, looking nervously around as if speaking his name would bring him here.
"Hey, it's alright, he can't hurt you anymore." He said, his eyes focused on her face.
She sniffled again, "T-thank you, Dylan..." She pulled the blanket closer to her body and shivered.
Dylan frowned, "You are cold, I'll turn the heat up." He stood up slowly as not to scare her anymore and walked over to the thermostat and turned it up.
He then turned and carefully knelt by the bedside, "There, that should help."
She stared at him, her eyes meeting his, "Thank you Dylan." She had surprised herself when the words came out boldly and clearly.
