Eren POV

It's now Thursday and I'm heading off to meet Y/N at her locker.

She's seemed more happy this week. Something about her makes it seem that way. Maybe because she's smiling more. It's Something like That.

We've been meeting up after school and occasionally during the day to talk and just to say hi.

I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. It gives me some sort of excitement during the day.

Genuine or not its fun. Sometimes when she gets too excited it becomes too much for me. But that doesn't happen often.

One say during the week She brought a cup or coffee with her to school. And boy did she have a lot of energy. She was just talking and talking and skipping around.

Eventually she did crash pretty badly and she looked terrible. Bur it was funny to witness.

"Hey Y/N, how are you?" I said smiling to her as I approached my locker.

"Hi Eren, I'm fine. Today was a decent day of school. I don't have much homework. Just Th at worksheet from English, two more problems on my statistics homework and I think that's it but I could be remembering wrong. And How are you?" She said returning the smile.

"Well you seem to be in a pretty good mood today. That's great. I've been pretty good. Today just felt like a drag honestly. Nothing too eventful. Armin is finally talking to me again. He talked to me In second period. I was relieved, I thought he was going to avoid me when we went out tomorrow." I chuckled. I really thought he would still be mad at me by the time we were going out. In glad That it did end up passing though.

Unless he's not completely over it and just accepting it so we can all go out to the fair together.

"Its good That he came around to talking to you again" Y/N said. She was still fiddling with things in her locker.

"Hey, I'm gonna go run about 2 errands before heading home. If you don't have anything planned right now, did you want to join me? I promise to get you home at a reasonable time." I asked her. Might as well get a jumpstart on her trusting me right.

"Oh, yeah sure. That sounds pretty fun to do. What errands do you need to do?" Once she agreed I turned to lead the way to the car.

"I have to Go pick up a few things for my mom since I'm already out. I think she's gonna be baking something for her work place tonight to take with her tomorrow. And I'm also supposed to go pick up some tools for my dad for the weekend. Its just little things but I'm always happy to help my parents. Like you said, they probably miss me so spending time here and there with them will make them feel happy." I said smiling to her.

This whole act thing is tiring. But at times, it doesn't feel like it's being completely forced.

We made it to the car and I told her we needed to get gas first.

So that's where we went.

On our way, We were talking about random things. Our likes, dislikes. We made jokes. We laughed. Over all it was a pretty good start.

We got to the gas station and Y/N was originally going to wait in the car cause she wanted to but I insisted she come down with me so we can get snacks. That I'll treat her to some.

I got a whole bunch of things compared to Y/N. I had grabbed some Swedish fish, lifesavers, a kit Kat, some gummy bears, 2 bags of chips that were the big bag and 2 drinks.

Y/N though, just one bag of chips and an Arizona Iced tea. She didn't even get a big bag.

She did offer to help me carry some of the stuff. I didn't want her over loading her hands though so I only gave her the drinks to carry.
