Y/N POV

"Hi" I said to Eren. We had just been staring at each other.

"Hey" He smiled to me.

I never realized how soft his gaze was. Or at least he held a really soft gaze right now.

I saw that he was slowly getting closer to me.

"Is it ok to kiss you?" He asked.

"Yeah" I whispered to him.

A gentleman.

Especially all those other times when he just kissed me when he was either drunk and mad at me or when he cane over to apologize. 

This kiss wasn't like any of those.

It was gentle. Like he kissed me with care. And for once I had actually kissed back because I was expecting the kiss this time. And wanted the kiss.

After all those unwelcome encounters with him kissing me, We finally got to a point where I accepted it.

I had pulled away and felt my cheeks
Get warm. We were still staring at each other until two cars honked at each other.

Eren looked up and away from me to look around.

"Come on, I'll take you home" he said and he opened the door for me.

The car ride was comfortable. He held my hand while he was driving and he played some music quietly in the background.

"Did you enjoy tonight?" Eren asked me.

"Yeah I did. I had a lot of fun going on the rides. And when we went to the park. I had gone on so many rides that I had never been on. Like the anti gravity one and That spin around one. Where were in a cart and they can make it go forward or backwards. That one was really fun. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you for inviting me out. I think I would have just stay home and done homework or something if I didn't go out." I said to him. I think I sounded a little too excited but nonetheless he chuckled and held by hand tighter.

"You really are adorable." He said smiling. I blushed at his statement and looked away.

"There she goes again not wanting anything to do with me" Eren pouted. I just laughed and held his hand tighter.

He continued driving. It was silent until he all of a sudden shouted.

"Oh my god!!"

"Ahhh!! What happened??" I asked slightly freaked out.

"We didn't ride the Ferris wheel! I really wanted to get on that with you." He said sounding a little upset.

"... That's it? You screamed and freaked me out for that?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, I just realized that. And I really wanted to get on that ride with you. Can you blame me?"

"Blame you for almost giving me a heart attack? Yes." I laughed and he just chuckled.

We arrived at my house and We were in mid conversation.

"How are you gonna tell me that strawberry kiwi flavored Arizona's beat watermelon?" Eren said sounding a little offended.

"I'm just saying that I, you know ME, prefer to drink the strawberry kiwi flavored one over the watermelon one."

"Well you are wrong. And how are you going to say you like the banana Laffey taffy over any other flavor? The straw berry one is the best." He said sounding more offended.

"I'll admit the strawberry one is good, but I just prefer to have the banana one. It tastes more rich and better to me."

"Well again you are wrong" he said and laughed.
