Eren POV

I was beyond mad at What Jean had said to Y/N.

Irritated, frustrated, pissed off, agitated. You name it. I was feeling it all once she told me what had happened.

I got up from the table and made my way to where Jean was sitting.

I don't really know what I was going to do. But I was just going to let whatever happens happen.

I got to their table and Marco looked up.

"Eren hello, how is your day going?" Marco asked with a smile.

"Just peachy. Thanks for asking. I gotta talk to Horse Face though." I said, irritation and anger evident in my voice.

"Get up." I said to Jean. And he just ignored me.

"I said get up." I said sounding much more aggressive.

"Eren don't make any dumb moves right now there a whole bunch of peop-" Marco started but I interrupted Him.

"Shut up this has nothing to do with you." I said looking directly at Marco.

"How about you just go back to your girlfriend and not bother us? I think that sounds like a great idea." Jean said rolling his eyes.

"And who gave you the fucking right to talk to her the way you did over the weekend? Do you understand how much that shit hurt her?" I spat at him without thinking.

"Oh you really want to talk about hurting her. That's hilarious. Its the truth though. She doesn't belong with someone like you. You'll only cause her trouble and end up hurting her. I've been the one nice to her this whole time yet she goes for someone like you! It stupid!" Jean began to raise his voice.

"So you're jealous is what I'm hearing. That still doesn't give you a right to talk to Y/N like that. Shit like that won't slide."

"Oh shut up stop acting like you really care about her. She doesn't know you and you don't know her." Jean said getting up in my face this time.

We were staring at each other with deathly glares.

But then I felt arms wrap around me.

Y/N was hugging me from behind. She seemed to be breathing heavily. And had her face dug in my back.

I turned around to face her and felt my whole body soften. My face, my muscles, my anger was gone.

She looked distraught. She let go of me and looked down. Her breathing was still heavy and I saw she was beginning to scratch her wrist again.

A panic attack was coming on.

Instinct to calm her down came over me. I completely forgot That Jean was right behind me.

"Hey hey its ok, we're not fighting, just talking. With raised voices? Shhh shh it's ok we're not fighting, how about we go back to our seats and calm down. We're ok" I said softly to her, grabbing her hands.

She nodded and Jean called out.

"I'm not done with you!"

"Yeah well I am! I have better things to focus on." I said to him and continued walking to where me and Y/N sit.

We sat down, but instead of sitting across from her, I sat next to her. I was hugging her and running my hands through her hair like I always do when she's like this.

Her breathing seemed to calm down quite a bit in 5 minutes.

"Hey do you want to get out if here?" I asked her.
