This chapter will be written in Tsukishima's point of view (it's more of a filler chap)

He had definitely been struggling without her to say the least. While he would never admit it to the people around him like his teammates or his family, he missed you. He had too much pride to say anything like that. Of course he tried to stay in contact with you but again, the time zones and everything you guys had going on, it was difficult.

People constantly asked how he was holding up and he would say 'I'm fine' to dismiss the subject. In reality, he really wasn't fine. I mean how could he be? His girlfriend lives halfway across the world and he never gets to talk to her. In the beginning it was easy since the two were eager to stay in contact. You would make efforts call and text as much as you could but now, it became too hard.

Over the last (almost) two years, Tsukishima became more confident with volleyball and his abilities. After everything (Y/N) did to help him want to continue the sport and build him up he kept practicing. It was really hard for everyone after the third years left but the team powered through and got new members along the way.

Tsukishima along with the other former first years (Yamaguchi, Yachi, Hinata and Kageyama), were going into their third and final year of highschool. This was a huge step that Tsukishima was hoping to make with (Y/N). Unfortunately she's still not back, and there is no sign of when she is coming back.

"Tsukki." The boy heard someone calling his name and tapping his shoulder. "Tsukishima," the person called out once again. The blonde snapped out of his thoughts and remembered where he was.

Right now he was sitting at his desk in his bedroom with Yamaguchi. They were finishing up their summer homework before school started next week. Unfortunately, Tsukishima dozed off completely and forgot what he was even doing.

"Tsukki are you alright?" Yamaguchi asked. "You've been zoning out a lot more recently." Tsukishima thought about it and yamaguchi was right. You fill most of his thoughts, he literally cannot stop thinking about you.

"I'm fine, I was just trying to solve this problem." Tsukishima lied. "Just do your work I'm almost done." Yamaguchi went and sat back down, he knew his Bestfriend was lying to him. He's thinking about (y/n) again. Yamaguchi sighed and went back to his work.

Tsukishima scrunched his eyebrows as his thoughts slowly became more negative. What if she did move on? I mean he said he would wait for her but what if she didn't wait for him? He shook his head, trying to get rid of these annoying questions that filled his head.

"Feelings are fucking stupid." Tsukishima scoffed quietly. "What was that?" Yamaguchi asked from the other side of the bed room. "Nothing Yamaguchi." Tsukishima dismisses and tries to get back to his work.

"Maybe you should just text her." Yamaguchi suggests while breaking the silence. "Text who?" Tsukishima questions. "You know exactly who I'm talking about." And of course Tsukishima did, he couldn't play dumb forever.

"You guys haven't talked in forever and it's clearly eating at you," Yamaguchi points out and Tsukishima turns to look at him. "What would I even say? 'Hey my dear girlfriend that lives all the way in America, whom I haven't texted in over a month because we're too busy, how are you?'." Tsukishima responds sarcastically along with an eye roll .

"Not necessarily," his bestfriend laughs. "But she's probably asking herself the same things and thinking the same stupid thoughts. Just text her." Yamaguchi says while packing up his things. "Well I gotta go meet Yachi, I'll text you later." With that, the freckled boy up and left.

"Whatever." Tsukishima sighed as he returned to his work. He didn't want his Bestfriend to be right but, he knew deep down that everything yamaguchi said made sense. Tsukishima glanced at his phone, considering taking his friends advice.

"Damn it, Yamaguchi." He sighed and picked up his phone and went to your contact. He clicked your name and typed out the three simple words.

(To) Y/N <3
I miss you.
(Idk the exact time dif)

Almost immediately after, he received a message.

(From) Y/N <3
I miss you too :)

Tsukishima smiled to himself as hope for their future grew inside his mind.
