"Yeah, there's my little girl." Haley cooed, as she picked Daphne up.

She was currently home alone, just enjoying, well trying to enjoy here evening.

Haley had to admit that although the last 7 months of being a mom had been hard and tedious, she wouldn't trade it for the world.

After a little while, Daphne began to lose it. "Oh no..baby." Haley sighed, as she tried to rock her back and forth. It didn't help. Her crying only increased.

After searching the internet, and finding some possible answers, she tried everything she could. It didn't benefit the problem at all.

"What am I doing wrong?" Haley asked herself, panicking. She took some deep breaths, continuing to rock Daphne back and forth. "Hold on D...I'm going to call dad okay?" She said, getting nothing but crying in response.

"Hay, what's up?" Sam answered, as she sighed.

"Um...I need you to come home now. Daphne won't stop crying and freaking out. She might have teeth coming in...I can't get her to stop crying." Haley rambled.

"Yeah I'm on my way." He replied, hanging up.

Haley let out a frustrated sigh, as she walked around still holding the crying baby. "It's going to be okay, you're going to be okay." She tried to reassure her daughter, even though it wasn't much use.

A few minutes later, Sam came in the front door. He walked over to Haley, taking Daphne from her, and suddenly she stopped crying.

"What the heck?" Haley muttered, under her breath, restraining herself from crying.

"Yeah. It's okay D." Sam said as Daphne's little tears rolled down her cheeks. "I'll put her to bed." Sam said, smiling sadly at Haley, who nodded, looking away to wipe her frustrated tears.

Haley sat on the bed, as Sam entered a few minutes later.

"Hey, baby, are you doing okay?" He asked, when he sat next to her. He looked at her, waiting for an answer.

"Did I do something wrong? I mean I tried everything that the website recommended was safe..." Haley spoke after a while, as Sam continued to listen to her. She continued her rant. "I just feel like...I-I did something wrong, and of course I blame myself...why wouldn't I? It's kind of what I'm good at nowadays....I'm such a horrible mom..." Haley trailed off, breaking down as she cried.

"Hey, Hey.." Sam said, bringing her into his arms, and letting her cry into his chest.

"You aren't a bad mom. I don't know where you're getting that from, but you aren't. You're the opposite. This doesn't define you, it's just been a bad day." He whispered, as she slowly began calming down.

"Well, I mean, apparently nothing I did tonight worked, until you were around." Haley pointed out. "I guess I just feel alone, a lot of the time. I'm not underestimating everything you do. I just feel alone, since I'm home a lot by myself." Haley sniffled, as Sam sent her a sad smile.

"I can request a few weeks off. Would that be any consolation?" He asked, as he chuckled as her face lit up.

"Yeah, that would actually. It would be good." She smiled back.

"Good we have that sorted." He smiled, as he leaned down to press his lips to hers.

"I love you Hay, so much." He said after they pulled away.

"I love you too Sam, so much." Haley sighed as she leaned against him, falling asleep, rather fast.

He watched her sleep fondly, before he fell asleep soon after.
