CHAPTER 6: Revil's Ignition

REVIL

IT'S ALREADY NINE IN THE MORNING when I decided to go back to the town house besides I am already done with my walk. It was seven in the morning when my body asked for a walk while waiting for Leandro's message or call because since three in the morning, I haven't received any message or call yet from him. While passing the strong hit of waves on my feet, my cellphone suddenly rang inside my front pocket and to my excitement to see if it is Leandro, I quickly took my phone and answer the call. My smile reached from ear to ear when I saw the word bise flashed on the cellphone screen.

I have never been so excited like this before.

"Leandro, mabuti naman at tumawag ka na?" worriedness and longingness were palpably evident on both of my face and voice. If you just know how it feels to long for someone who needs to be away for a while just to keep ourselves protected and safe from the evilness that surfaces the faces of the impostors, it feels so dark and hard.

Sobra ko na talaga siyang namimiss, kung puwede lang kasi sana na magkakasama na lang kami rito sa isla pero hindi rin naman 'yon maaari dahil mas lalo kaming makukulangan sa pagkilos.

"Kumusta kayo riyan sa isla?" his voice was clear as the clouds in the sky and as deep as the ocean. I think, I am deeply in love, hindi yata maganda 'to?

Bahala na.

"Mabuti naman, ikaw ang inaaalala ko. Simula kasi kaninang madaling araw hindi ka pa tumatawag."

"Ah, sorry po."

There was a long pause after his line that made my brows knitted. Hmm, I am sensing something off of him. Hindi siya ganito kapag nag-uusap kaming dalawa.

"Is there anything else you want to say?"

"Ah, ano kasi..."

"Ano?"

"Magagalit ka, eh."

"Mas magagalit ako pag pinatagal mo pa 'to, hindi mo na lang sabihin, eh." I tsked over this conversation because he's being coquettish again.

"Primo's girlfriend is... Trisha."

"And so? Doest it matter?"

"Of course not."

"Then, why does it have to be open up here? Hindi ka ba masaya na hindi ka na hahabulin ng tahong na 'yon?"

"Ano kasi kanina..."

"Fuck you!" ibababa ko na sana ang tawag nang magsalita siyang muli.

Kaya nga sinasabi ko sa'yo 'to ngayon kasi ayokong maglihim sa'yo at ayokong isipin mo na hindi ko kayang umiwas sa mga tukso. Aaminin ko siya lang ang may intensyong gawin 'yon at binabalak niya lang akong iblackmail pero hanggang doon lang 'yon. Ito naman nagagalit agad." tila todo paliwanag pa siya mula sa kabilang linya gamit ang pambatang boses. Hindi ko naman naiwasang mapangiti dahil sa ginawa niya dahil aaminin ko na napaka-cute ng boses niya. Agad din namang nawala ang badtrip ko dahil alam ko namang hindi niya magagawa sa akin 'yon. Doon pa lang sa inamin niya 'yung nangyari na kung tutuusin ay puwede niyang ilihim ay sinabi niya pa rin dahil gusto niya akong makasigurado na dapat kampante lang ako kahit anong mangyari.
