Chapter 94

Okay, So Surprisee!!

Though I had already told a lot of you in comments that I will be updating today but yeah, it is a surprise.

Now, I have three reasons behind updating this chapter even when I said there won't be any chapter till March-

First, The track was planned and I could write fast.

Second, The excitement of all of you😂 I swear I was laughing so bad reading the reaction of yours.

Third, the response. (Check the media box) This was amazing. Though I couldn't reply to all on Chapter 92 as there were many and I have my exam tomorrow.

Oh yes! Exam, Can you believe I am updating today when I have my exam tomorrow!

Nandini felt her heart thudding loudly in her chest hearing Raj. Did he know she went to the bar? But how? She looked at Manik for support but he was looking at his father in confusion.

Raj: Nandini, Where were you?

This time his voice was more stern and Manik's confusion changed into a frown. He didn't like the tone his father used for his wife.

Manik: Dad, what type of question is this? She was at hospital.

Raj: Really?

Niyonika: Raj, What happened?

Raj shooked his head and stared at Nandini who was silently looking down, confirming he was right.

Raj: Your dear daughter went to local bar today.

He revealed and there were gasps from everyone. Mukti looked at Nandini, scared that their secret might not be a secret anymore while Nandini felt blank for a moment. She didn't know how to react. Her heart which was thudding loudly sometime ago, felt like it would explode any second.

Navya: Dad, Nandu hates such places. Why will she go there?

Navya tried to speak in her defence. She knew her bestfriend. Nandini would never go to such places.

Manik: Yeah Dad and who told you this?

Raj: Mr.Sharma was there at the bar today and he saw her there. He taunted me saying my daughter-in-law goes to such places.

Manik remembered Mr.Sharma, their business partner whose daughter was badly insulted by him when they went there to see her.

His daughter was a complete spoilt brat and when Manik rejected her, Mr.Sharma and his family couldn't take it. When Manik got married with Nandini, Mr.Sharma had even called Raj stating how upset he was that they didn't choose his daughter.

However, Manik clenched his fists in anger. Did his father just believed that man?

Manik: He said and you believed?

Raj: I didn't believe him nor I want to, but Nandini's silence is forcing me to.

He looked at Nandini who sniffed this time. Manik stood up abruptly and stood by her side.

Manik: You are being harsh, dad. I know my wife. She won't go-

Nandini: I went there to see a friend.

She cut him off in between. She wanted to tell the truth but seeing Mukti's scared face she couldn't. She looked at Manik who was staring at her in shock.
