Chapter 30

Same Day, Malhotra Mansion

The whole Malhotra family had their dinner and were now sitting in the living room spending some time as per their regular schedule.

This time Cabir was laying on Nandini's lap as Manik layed down on Niyonika's lap and teased him a lot.

Cabir: (loudly) Aah Bhabhi Your lap feels just like Mom's.

He stopped and looked at Manik who raised his head up with an annoyed look on his face. Nandini's eyes widen as she realized what Cabir was doing.

Mukti: Bhai Bhabhi, you both are going London toh bring something for me.

Nandini: (smiling) Kya chahiye tumhe?

Mukti: (excited) Bhabhi! Bohut saari dresses, footwears and accessories.

Manik: (sarcastic) Muku, We are going for a business deal. We aren't going for a vacation.

Mukti: (pouted) Bhai! (to Raj) Dad see him!

Raj: (warning) Manik! Don't tease her!

Manik made a bad face and snuggled in his mother's arms.

Raj: (Teasing) Niyo you need to stop pampering him! He is big guy now.

Manik groaned and stood up. Next second they watched him walking upstairs.

Nandini looked at him worriedly while others didn't react much. They knew it was just his way to escape when he has no answers and comebacks to someone.

Cabir: Bhabhi, Don't worry. He is okay.

Nandini nodded and Cabir sat on the couch.

Nandini wished them Good Night and left from there and others shared a smiling look.

Manik and Nandini's Room

As Nandini entered inside she heard the water running sound. She sighed and walked to the cupboard and fished out her night suit. She changed in the room itself and than layed down on the bed.

She closed her eyes throwing her head back. Thinking about her day today. Soon she felt something on her lap and looked down to see Manik laying on the bed keeping his head on her lap.

She was surprised but didn't say anything.

Manik: You know, I am angry.

He said in a complaining tone and she looked confused.

Nandini: Why?

Manik: How can you allow Cabir to keep his head on your lap?

He complained and she looked at awestruck. Was he jealous? Yes! He was!

She ruffled his hairs and he snuggled in her stomach more.

Silence prevailed and soon Nandini felt his lips on her stomach. She looked down and realized he has moved her t-shirt a little up.

Soon she felt his hands on her waist and then he pinched her. She shrieked jolting up but he held her tightly.

Manik peeped up and she could see the mischievous glint in his eyes.

Nandini: Manik, It hurts

He shrugged and pinched again this time more hardly and she glared at him while wincing in pain.

Manik: Isn't this sweet pain?

She blushed and he laughed as he again hugged her through her waist.

Manik: (slowly) I love you

Nandini: I love you too Manik. Why are you getting jealous?

Manik: Because Only I can lay here. Nobody else!
