Murty Mansion, Nandini's Room

Manik entered inside without knocking and found her stuffing things inside her slowly. She looked lost in her thoughts.

Manik: Nandini!

She looked up startled as he walked ahead, all ready to burst out on her. She took a step back as he stood there towering her small frame with his large one.

Manik: Fast! We need to leave.

Though he wanted to say something else but ended up saying this. He took a sharp breathe controlling his anger while Nandini nodded not wanting to make him more angry. However, it increased his anger more as he expected a verbal answer from her.

Manik: Why didn't you tell me that you are coming home?

Nandini: I tried your number but it was unreachable.

Manik: Toh you could have called on Aman's number.

Nandini looked up to face him this time. He raised his eyebrow as she let out a small sigh.

Nandini: Aman said you are in a meeting.

Manik: Wow! Excellent! No I mean you couldn't even wait for an hour to come here?

Nandini: Manik, Aap aise kyu baat kar rahe ho?

He glared at her and she looked down. She wanted to say something but she wasn't sure how he will take it. She was scared that he might end up shouting at her infront of Murty's and Rhea.

She decided to talk to him in the car but even that didn't work. When she asked him about it, he just threw a glare at her.

They were in the mid when Manik had to stop the car on the signal. He thought for a second and cleared his throat gaining her attention. However, he didn't face her.

Manik: Did you eat?

Nandini: Yes!

And there her stomach growled. She closed her eyes in frustration while Manik looked at her with more anger in his eyes.

Manik: Breakfast?

Nandini: Apse matlab?

Manik: Nandini!

Nandini: (sighing) I didn't eat.

Manik: May I ask you why?

Nandini: Because I didn't feel like.

Manik: Are you serious!?

That was it! Nandini felt anger rushing inside her veins. First, he is taking her home without her consent and then he is shouting at her infront of their guest.

Nandini: Stop getting angry without any reason, Manik! You got me like this, against my wish but still I am silent. Doesn't mean you will cross your limit now.

Though Manik was a little taken back by her words but still his male ego came in between. He gripped the steering wheel turning his knuckles white. He took a deep breathe and stared at her.
