"What do you wanna watch for our dinner and a movie?" Louis's voice calls from the upstairs hallway, he has just finished his shower and is on his way to the couple's shared bedroom. Harry could only grin, his cheeks rosy as he saw the lad coming from the steamy bathroom, his hair wet from the brand new shower they bought about a week or so ago.

"I'm thinking of ordering something from the Italian joint across town, I don't want either of us to have to cook tonight."

He couldn't help but blush as he heard Louis's laugh enter his ears, serotonin hormones easily being transmitted throughout his body and he was in a constant smitten state of mind.

He won't lie, he thought Louis treated him like a king, and he knocked on wood that he too treated Louis as his equal. They both fit together like the perfect puzzle, and even though couples were bound to fight, they have yet to have one that was unsolvable. Being together for almost six years, Harry felt closer to Louis than he had with anyone else, even his own mum who he hadn't spoken to now in three days.

Harry smiled, realizing how in love he really was with Louis, his heart doing summersaults when he thought of how long he really did have a fondness over the boy, and if he were being completely honest with himself, he felt as if he was devoted to Louis, and he couldn't see himself with anyone else.

"Haz?" Did you hear me? Louis says, slowly sitting down on the sofa next to him.

Harry hadn't even realized that Louis entered the room, wearing a simple set of plaid pajamas, the ones Harry bought him for his last birthday, they were a pretty royal blue with a bit of silk where the buttons connected at the chest.

"N-No, I was just thinking about something is all." Harry turned to look at Louis with the same loving smile he always gave him. Louis looked pleased and gave Harry a small hug before cuddling only for a moment.

"I said I think we should watch a Disney movie, like Toy Story." Louis had always been a huge fan of Disney and all the things Disney had produced and put out. There was even a couple of occasions where he bought an entire collection of Disney DVDs. Now that he brought up the topic, he could see Harry's smile fading, which hadn't been what he was expecting to happen.

Louis didn't realize exactly how often he really brought up Disney as the topic to watch, but he knew it became too much for Harry a little too often nowadays, and Harry up until now seemed to let it go.

"Can... can we watch the new Nicholas Sparks movie instead?" Harry spoke, it seemed in a bit of a soft tone, he didn't want to show Louis his disinterest in Disney, even after all they had done together, hurting Louis was something that until this day would end up hurting him more. As Harry began to nibble on his lower lip he watched Louis's face deflate, yet he nodded his head slowly, as soon as he looked at Harry though the smile returned.

"You know what you're right, I watch Disney too often anyway, let's watch something you like." Louis couldn't help the grin, that displayed across his face, thinking of how Harry loved romance movies, he thought it could even be possible for Harry to act in one someday, but maybe he was just spitballing

To keep from gushing over the young lad, Harry hid his face in the lad's chest, smiling like a fool and unable to be angry with him, yeah that was about right.

The night seemed to go on forever, or so Louis thought, yet it felt like it was only a few minutes. Harry had Louis's interest in the bleak things of life. His father left around the time the boy had been about five or six, that struck home with Louis yet he didn't speak of why, he could only keep his eyes on the emerald-eyed lad, listening as he told in full detail what had been going on, and how his father had been cheating on his mum behind her back.

"I felt like I was too young to know what cheating really was."

Harry barked out a laugh, and the sadness was obviously obscured because Louis never noticed it. When their food arrived and the two begin eating more rather than talking, the silence that filled the room was rather comfortable and Louis was thankful. His perception of the man before him was beauty in its finest. He was in love and he couldn't see himself with anyone else.

"I feel like I'm one of your term papers, you keep studying me like the answers are written on my forehead, I mean if that's even what you were looking at."

The banter was always something the pair leaned on when they were joking around, especially know that they couldn't stay mad at the other for too long. Louis could only reply by rolling his eyes playfully, he had a mouthful of spaghetti in his mouth and almost choked after hearing Harry's comment.

How did the nights go by so fast, Harry and Louis were eating while watching a little movie, and before they knew it nightfall was calling and they were both worn out? Somehow they both made it up to their room and Harry began making their bed while Louis went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and get himself ready to lay down.

"Thank you for such a wonderful night in, Haz was truly amazing," Louis spoke from the doorway, his eyes glancing over at the boy who had just slipped into his pajamas. Louis had known Harry this long to know what his pajamas really were, and he couldn't help the tomato red appearance on his own face.

"Harry, you don't even warn me anymore!" Harry turned around observant to how his lover took in the bedroom appearance and he smirk. "Why are you laughing, it isn't funny, oh my god."

It was evident by the tone in Louis's voice that he was only joking, and he smiled when Harry moved closer giving the lad a hug and burying his face into his neck. "Mmm you smell so good, you know that, I love when you use my body wash and gel."

~.~

Harry wished things could remain the same but he also knew that this was all just memories, recollections in his own boggle of a mind, it didn't occur to him until just now that it was pitch black in the room and he was staring out the window, he always did this when he was overthinking, the only light that was in the room was a little lamp on the bedside table.

It was where Louis used to take all his daily catnaps, or what Harry would call sleeping all day. He even recalled lecturing Louis on it, but he knew it wouldn't do any good. Somehow that was what made the two differ from each other. Harry took in a deep yet shaky breath, his mind trying to fight the urge to sleep, yet it also fought the urge to cry. Why did he want to cry over someone who was now completely at peace and without pain? He missed Louis.
