Harry took in a deep breath as he closely encountered multiple people through the campground, his friend, who introduced himself as Dylan, had decided to speak with the psychiatrist who happened to stay within the area. Being alone, yet so close to people made Harry feel very apprehensive about the entire idea of it all.
Harry sighs, finally reaching his cabin, the number 2801 placed just underneath the peephole and he caught sight of it right away. He usually had some difficulty keeping happiness in his soul, with the thought of Louis not being by his side, and the strange man he claimed to be his friend only God knows where.
He might not have even made it to the psychiatrist, even though that really wasn't his concern, Harry tended to worry for the safety of others. Dylan was clearly off his rocker, so the mere thought of him walking the campsite alone, well made Harry a bit tense. Jesus, Harry could only think to himself, "What if he really is alone?
He could hear Louis's voice in his head almost like the melody of his favorite song.
"Just keep your head up, love. He would say, the kindness in his voice and the fondness in his gestures when he would take the lad in a hug. Somehow he managed to make everything okay, this gave Harry the courage to finally open the door to the cabin.
~.~
There was a loud sound coming from the kitchen, which actually resembled a hallway in Harry's own opinion and the boy was only half asleep when he discovered where it had actually come from.
"Hey, you k-know you're late for th-therapy." The Irish lad's voice echoed from the kitchen. Harry's mind was boggled by how the man before him spoke. It was just like him, when he tried to speak anyway, these days his typical speech had been blocked, and explaining it to anyone was harder than it looked.
Turning in the lad's direction he could only nod, staggering over, his physical abilities had improved but from just now it didn't seem like it, now did it?
"I-I'm Niall..." He stuck his hand out in a greeting, but Harry was still too lost I the fact they shared disabilities. "So y-you're the sh-shy type?" A smile was evident on his face, but he almost looked away after. "I guess I-I'll see you a-around, I mean s-since we're roomies."
Harry couldn't let but one thing sink in at a time, Niall Horan was his roommate, who had a stutter, and on top of that, he was energetic?
"I... I am Harry." He sounded out to disguise his disability to the best of his ability.
Maybe this was a bad idea, introducing himself to another person, and whatever happened to Dylan? He couldn't have just vanished right? Not even realizing that he had become quiet until Niall took him by the arm and led him to the sofa, did Harry realize he had been in a sort of daze. No, no not now. Honestly, this was him supposedly getting better. Whereas now, Niall may be witnessing another seizure of his.
When everything became a blur, and the room seemed to be fading away to nothing, Harry knew Niall was his friend. They had just been acquainted but despite everything that was happening, Niall was there, holding his hand as a comforting gesture
"D-Don't worry th-the p-paramedics are c-coming. "Niall spoke, trying his best to be there for Harry, he was trembling slightly as he rubbed over the lad's arm laying him on his side. This had happened within himself, and he knew the signs even before a seizure even occurred.
Harry didn't remember much, other than Niall telling him to hold on. Everything else is an impairment to his memory. Maybe this was supposed to happen. He felt like it was anyway. The way things had gone from advancing, moving beyond where he had once been stuck, to now almost in a complete cycle.
When he awoke, he could see Niall in the corner of the room, his eyes closed and a blanket laying gently over hi lap. How long had Harry truly been here - wait was he in the hospital? His eyes instantly found the brunette lad with blue eyes and the most angelic smile he had ever known.
"L-Lou..." Harry' voice was barely above a murmur, yet ears could still sense the sound inside the room. Blue eyes met the curly lad, who laid in the bed, seeming to be perplexed by all that has happened.
"It's alright love, don't beat yourself up to talk to me." Louis took his hand in his own, he knew that Harry had an automatic reaction whenever they had been apart for a while.
"Don't worry darling, shh shh."The curly lad was now crying, and usually, Louis had his way with words but this time around he felt clueless until he really wasn't.
"Love, do you remember what we talked about?" He asked, with a gentle smile on his face. Despite the situation, he was honestly happy. He and Harry were married, he had asked Anne for her blessing, and he knew it by heart, the way there was almost a split second of an answer.
Harry was his, and Harry would always be his. There was no one like him, and he couldn't decide whether right now was the worst time to just dump all of his feelings in Harry's lap.
"H, you're mine, and whatever stresses you have right now, allow me to help take care of it." His voice was as calm as could be, Harry could do that. He gave Louis a sense of serenity that no one else could, not even his best mate, Zayn. "Promise me, Harry?"
As the silence set in, eyes met, and lips found each other like it was the beginning of a romance all over again. Harry remembered the question, the ring, and the night that they laid together almost as if it were deja vu.
Louis's fingers managed to trace down Harry's frame, he was like an hourglass, the man of the hour. Louis could only think to himself and he was truly lucky. Even if it wasn't true love at first sight, and even though it took time to understand what was right for him, he knew deep down in the pit of his stomach that Harry was all he wanted.
They linked hands, then. Harry was in all smiles, once he realized that Lou was there for him. And he always would be. "I made a friend... at- at the camp." Harry smiled, somehow not stuttering as much, but maybe it was due to being in the moment. "His name was N-Niall... and think he s-saved my life." Harry became a bit astounded by the fact someone really cared enough in regards to him, besides Louis of course.
Louis turned to the lad who was sitting on a chair, reminding him of some sort of rocker, not what you normally see in a hospital. He sighs, a rather content look on his face. "I'm glad for that, you needed someone to look out for you, especially with me not able to be there some of the time."
The room met with silence, somehow Harry nor Louis minded it, as it seemed to be rather comfortable to them both. Louis doesn't say it out loud, only thanking Niall within his own mind as he glances back toward the corner of the room again. "Thank you Niall, for keeping my Hazza safe, I don't know what I would do without him."
As he spoke the words, which was no more than a whisper, for his own thoughts mostly, a small tear escaped.
Thank you loves for reading the chapter! I may try finishing the book up today, but if not it''' be done by tomorrow!
