"1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2- ouch darling, that was my foot, not the floor"

You struggled to muffle the sound of your laughter as you listened into the elderly couple who were dancing only a few feet away from you and Yeonjun.

"I'm sorry dear, my eyes just aren't what they used to be", the frail man apologised as he focused intently on his feet, making sure to avoid another accident.

Despite how many times the man messed up, the smile on his partners face never seemed to fade. No matter how much of a catastrophe their dancing was, it didn't bother them at all. They were together. That was all they cared about.

"What's on your mind?"

You turned your head to look over to Yeonjun. His eyes were staring down at you with curiosity.

"You really want to know?", you cocked an eyebrow. At this moment it was hard to determine if Yeonjun was really curious, or just extremely bored.

"Of course I do", he grinned. "Now spit it out!"

"Alright then, I was just looking at that couple over there-"

"Mr and Mrs Lee"

"Yes well I was looking at Mr and Mrs Lee and was thinking how.. I'd like something like one day"

"Painfully waltzing your way across a ballroom? That's pretty interesting Y/n"

Rolling your eyes, you playfully smacked your hand on Yeonjun's shoulder.

"You know what I mean", you giggled. "I want to find the guy who is right for me and be with them until death do us part"

"As do I"

Yeonjun's words took you by surprise. In such a short time this man went from someone who did not care about anyone or anything and now, here he was, sharing the same dream as you. In a way, you found his aspiration sweet. You never pinned him as a settling down sort of guy. But, in this moment, you could see Yeonjun's true colours showing.

"Yeonjun"

"Yes?"

"I... I apologise if you take this the wrong way but, how have you changed so much in such a short amount of time?"

Yeonjun fell silent, his facial expression appearing to be extremely serious.

You gulped. Perhaps you had been too rude? Maybe you should have phrased your thoughts in a better way? Or maybe you should just never have spoken at all.

"I'm sorry.. I guess that was rude of me to say-"

"No.. It's just.. you're right", Yeonjun said softly. "I changed so much in such little time"

"If you don't mind me asking, how was that even possible?"

"Well, I met someone"

Your eyes widened. He met someone? Choi Yeonjun actually met someone that was able to alter his whole personality?

"And this someone... they made you want to change?"

"They did", you watched as a boyish grin appeared on his face. "This person made me realise that what I was doing was wrong. Their life was so different from mines, I had everything I ever wanted within my reach and they had nothing"

"And?"

"And... It inspired me. Made me look at my life in a different way. Hurting people and breaking the law, It didn't make me happy. It never did. It had always been a distraction, something to keep my mind of the life I hated back home"
