*Yeonjun's Pov*

Yeonjun was sat in his last class of the day and was surprisingly doing the work the teacher had told him to do. Ever since he cut ties with Soobin and Beomgyu, he had nothing else to do. So completing his school work was just a way to pass the time. He also had no desire to partake in any of his less respectable actions. Ever since you had come into his life, he'd stayed off the streets and found himself making amends with those who he had wronged in the past. Although he couldn't figure out if that was because of you or because he no longer had his friends by his side.

The boy was snapped out of his thoughts by the sound of the school bell ringing.

"That's all for today, have a good weekend everyone"

As his classmates left the room, Yeonjun was left alone as he slowly gathered up his things.  It was when he was placing his books in his bag that he saw someone standing beside him.

"Can I help-", Yeonjun fell silent as he raised his gaze and made eye contact with his old friend. "Oh.. it's you"

"Can we talk?"

"That depends on what you have to say"

Soobin frowned as he watched his older friend place his bag over his shoulder and make his way out of the class.

"I want to apologise Yeonjun"

Yeonjun stopped.

"Fine, let's talk"

------------

"1 2 3... 1 2 3... 1 2 3.. 1 2- y/n? Again?", Mikyong sighed as she watched you take your foot off of the male dance instructors foot.

"Sorry", you said as you let go of the man and stepped back.

You never realised dancing could be so hard. It had been over an hour since you started your dance lesson and you hadn't even progressed past a simple waltz. The ball was this Saturday and you still had half a dozen more dances to learn. There was no way you could possibly get your head around all of them in time.

"I think that's enough for today, you are excused"

Mikyong waved the man farewell as he bowed and the left the room.

As soon as you heard the door shut, you immediately groaned in frustration as you took a seat and buried your face into your hands.

"Don't worry y/n, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it next time", Mikyong smiled slightly whilst trying to console you, however, it only made you feel worse.

"I hope so", your voice was muffled and quiet as your hands blocked out the sound of your voice.

Mikyong placed a hand on your shoulder in reassurance before swiftly leaving the room.

You sat in silence, all alone, for a few minutes before deciding to talk a walk in the house's garden. The early nights meaning that you were basically walking around the back of the house in complete darkness. However, you didn't mind. The lack of light made you feel secure, like you were miles away from society and able to reflect on the changes that had happened in your life over the past few months.

Once you reached a bandstand, which was made of white marble, in the back of the garden you decided it would be a good place to stop and rest for a moment. Taking a seat on the steps, you hugged yourself as you looked up and admired the beauty of the place you were at. The bandstand surrounded by blood red roses and had a river that ran by it, the moonlight making it sparkle with every movement.

"So much for having a secret spot"

You gasped and turned around to see Yeonjun smiling at you as he leaned against one of freshly trimmed hedges.

"Yeonjun! I'm sorry I didn't know", you muttered as you stood up. "I'll just go-"

"No.. It's okay. I'd rather you were here"

"Y-you do??"

Yeonjun nodded.

You slowly sat back down as you watched the older man make his way other to your side and take a seat.

For what seemed like the longest period of time, the two of you sat in silence and stared up at the clear night sky. A gentle breeze blowing through both of your locks.

"So what are you doing out here?"

Yeonjun words startled you. Jumping back a little, you turned to look up at the boy.

"Can't a girl just take a walk?", you said with a slight hint of humour.

"I mean sure, but this bandstand is at the back of the garden and it hidden by a plethra of plants", he chuckled. "So tell me the truth"

You sighed.

"Fine, you've caught me. I'm struggling with the dances we're supposed to do at the ball and It's all just a little overwhelming"

Without saying a word, Yeonjun stood up and held out a hand for you to take. You were taken aback by his sudden actions, but you couldn't deny you were curious of his intentions. So, you placed your hands in his and swiftly got to your feet.

The boy didn't look over at you once, silently he led you to the centre of the bandstand, a light shade of pink plastered on his cheeks.

"Yeonjun... what are you doing?", your voice was just above a whisper.

"I-I.... I want to help you out", his voice was soft which caught you off guard.

"Help me with what?---"

With one swift motion, Yeonjun had directed your hand to his shoulder and placed his own on your lower back. A gasp escaped your lips as your brain registered the current position the two of you were in.

"Just follow my lead...okay?", Yeonjun's lips brushed against your ear as he whispered the words to you.

"okay.."

Surprisingly, Yeonjun was a very good dancer; something you didn't expect the boy with a bad reputation to be able to do.

You carefully followed the boys lead and soon you found yourself dancing without any thought. The two of you danced perfectly together.

"See, you can dance", Yeonjun smiled down at you.

Looking up at the man, you couldn't help but stare at him in awe. If you thought he looked attractive in the day, in the moonlight he looked ethereal.

"I guess I can", you breathed out, not once taking your eyes off of him.
