"Ladies and Gentlemen, girls, boys and children, I Kim JaeHwan, thank you all for graciously attending and enjoying yourself in the seventieth annual sports fest of the RBH, on behalf of the Royal Campus." JaeHwan looked in the eyes of the crowd, but beyond the first row of the chairs, everything looked blotchy.

And JaeHwan was thankful he couldn't separate the faces of the large mass of students listening to him.

"If I follow the stereotype, I should start by listing out the benefits of sports and exercise but I wouldn't bore you to death by that all and jump straight in what I have to say." Those lines were meant to be said as a joke. NaEun had drawn smiley doodles by these lines in the script so JaeHwan would get the message right. But on the stage with all the halogen lights focused on him, JaeHwan's facial muscles wouldn't move. They wouldn't stretch and smile.

Smile, you idiot! Song NaEun in the first row was constantly smiling like a creep so that JaeHwan would at least try to imitate her. She pushed the corners of her lips with her index fingers, but all it was doing was getting on JaeHwan's nerves.

"Hosting an event this large wouldn't have been possible if not for our sponsors, Kitech Corporations, Melliora Ballet Company and Empire Corporations. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I wish for your kindly support in the future as well." JaeHwan was afraid, yet he desperately searched for someone in the crowds. The speech was dragging on, there were dignitaries sitting in the front row, they were all watching him.

JaeHwan sucked in a deep breath and forced words out ahead, "Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships. Our school hosted tournaments for basketball, volleyball, football and baseball. All the final matches are scheduled tomorrow, and I am proud to announce that my own school will be playing in the basketball and volleyball finals."

JaeHwan's father used to tell him; when people watch you, make sure all they see is you. The people sitting before him, directors and shareholders of giant conglomerates, people of influence and power, they were not normal people. Their judgement was essential if JaeHwan wanted his dreams to come true.

The corporate world had to like JaeHwan if he even wanted to head a conglomerate as large as the Empire. People would have to revere him, worship him, admire him, if he wanted to ascend the throne his father sat on.

"For the individual sport competitions held today, we will be starting the felicitation ceremony shortly. Thank you for your attention. Next, we have an energizing performance by our marching band. Please have a round of applause to welcome them!" JaeHwan couldn't fake it anymore. He saw NaEun's disapproval right through, but JaeHwan felt that staying on the stage any longer would have bored the audience.

JaeHwan stepped down and the band was quick to run up and set their instruments on the stage.

"JaeHwan!" NaEun ran to the backstage, "you cut short three brilliant paragraphs! I wrote them so painstakingly and —"
