Han Segye was in a rush that morning,  as she stayed up all night gluing little wooden pieces to the roof of a model her Professor had asked her to work on. Therefore, she forgot both her breakfast, and an umbrella. She was soaking wet by the time she submitted the house model and reached the cafeteria, huffing and puffing for breath.

Even on days when the heavens decided to pour torrential rain and her phone wasn't working, she didn't care about her breakfast or umbrella, because HwaYoung was there for that.

"Here," HwaYoung pushed a tiffin box towards Segye, "have your breakfast, Unni."

She was in their usual spot, a quiet bench in the university garden.

"Really? Muffins, again? Who the hell eats muffins in the morning, HwaYoung?"

Tae HwaYoung was gravely offended, and she snatched her tiffin box back.

"I'm kidding," Segye managed to pry the box back and scarfed down the bite sized pieces of the chocolate muffins, "Can't get bored of these."

Really, Segye couldn't. She had been eating those since her last year of middle school, yet she couldn't get bored of HwaYoung's cooking, or HwaYoung's pretty blue eyes.

"By the way," Segye stopped chewing to take a sip of water, "I got tickets to Seo Taiji's concert on Wednesday next week. Let's go there."

"I can't," HwaYoung sighed and closed the book she was reading. Her gaze turned towards the grey skies, heavy and dark, the same sombre look reflected in her eyes. "I have to attend JeongSuk Oppa's cousin's engagement."

Hearing that name made Segye's appetite disappear. She closed the tiffin box and set it down, before she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and dusted her fingers. Talking about JeongSuk physically taxed Segye. She rolled her eyes before continuing on with the next topic.

"Anyways you know, there was this particularly large asshole yesterday who wouldn't understand anything and kept asking these goddamned questions —" SeGye huffed, recalling her meeting, "we are the architects now, leave the job to us!"

"Where...?" HwaYoung squinted.

"I told you, I was going for that redesign of the arts centre," SeGye hinted, but HwaYoung couldn't catch it.

"The one for Empire Corp, remember?"

"Aah yes, that one!" HwaYoung clapped her hands, a bit too loud and it attracted the attention of other students. That wasn't really a bother, HwaYoung attracted attention wherever she went. Especially the bothering, unsolicited ones.

"So the Chairman had to come down to oversee —"

"Oh my," HwaYoung gasped, "you met Chairman Kim of Empire? How is he?"
